Dr. Tanaz Kahen, MD

I don’t feel she really listens or asks enough (or the right) questions. I understand she runs a business but she and her staff feel more business/money oriented than patient/health oriented and that’s not what I want in a doctor.

Saw Dr. Kahen for a gyno (but not OB) procedure related to an uncommon condition. I had seen several other gynos who lacked compassion but Dr. Kahen was excellent, listened to my concerns and was open to the possibility that I was someone with this 1% of the population kind of issue (other gynos tried to fit me, a round peg, into a square hole, so to speak). My experience with the front desk was not as good, I had to reschedule a test they ordered multiple times because they repeatedly got the order wrong and I had to personally go back and forth between the ultrasound office and the front desk here like 6 times to get it right. Also had some billing issues.

Of any doctor who has received their degree from the West Indies. Just because she works in the same office as the Perlow's, does not mean the quality and care is the same...

Dr kahen, is fantastic she makes you feel very welcome and is very attentive provides answers to all your questions without making you feel rushed or uncomfortable. This Dr is very positive and has great energy. She is always available after hours and you don't have to wait long in the waiting room I'm very glad to have found her and trust her to deliver my first born in September.

Dr. Kahen always makes me feel very comfortable. She is wonderful and always greets me with a big, familiar, smile. I usually have my daughter with me at appointments and she greets and even plays with her too, which really makes her feel better when she's in a "scary doctor's office." I love her bedside manner and that she takes the time to really listen and answer questions thoroughly. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful doctor!! She is so caring and very knowledgeable. She spent so much time with me comforting me and answering all of my questions. I absolutely love and recommend this doctor and so do all my friends that go to her.

If you can imagine the perfect doctor who cares..here she is! She helped me through 3 pregnancies. She stopped accepting my HMO so I had to change to another OBGYN. Every dr I try doesn't even compare. Dr Kahen cares if you are in pain or concerned. If Dr Kahen accepts your insurance you will be in the best possible hands. The front office help/ nurse is equally warm and helpful. I highly recommend Dr Kahen.

Dr. Kahen is the absolute BEST OB-GYN and I whole heartedly recommend her! I had an extremely complicated pregnancy and she managed me with clinical perfection. With many trips to the ER and hospitalization for three weeks before I delivered, she kept a very close eye on me both medically and emotionally. I couldn't dream of having any other OB. She's not an alarmist, and makes sound clinical judgements based on a full assessment of the issue. She spends time talking with you and putting all fears and concerns at ease. She never once cut our appointment short and gave me all the time in the world. She exemplifies what it means to have "bedside manner." I'm so lucky to have her as my Physician.
