I've been seeing Tanya Jacobs for years and I'd recommend her to anyone. She's an amazing therapist! Insightful, kind, smart and funny.

I've been seeing Dr. Jacob for years and I think she's a truly excellent therapist. I've been through some traumas over the years, related to chronic illness and other issues, and I don't even want to think about where I'd be without her help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Unfairly takes sides in couples therapy and does not remain neutral in discussion, misconstrues information given to her about a given client’s history, and threatens to hang up on clients over the phone when the client shows any signs of feeling upset, all of which is completely unprofessional for a Ph.D therapist. I have encountered therapists with MFT’s and LSW’s who are way more professional and effective counselors than her. In my opinion as someone who unfortunately has had to see several types of therapists, I would definitely not recommend her.
