I am leaving this review after an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with the administrative side of this practice. There is a pattern of getting rescheduled at this facility and with this administration team which happens last minute. This is inconvenient when I have taken time off of work to be there multiple times. My rescheduled appointment was cancelled AGAIN at the last minute because the office failed to send the insurance authorization on time. They made it seem like "someone" put the authorization in late. I thought this was odd because this is a yearly follow up appointment, and not something from my pcp. When I asked for clarification, I was met with deflection, blame-shifting to "another department." I was told my only options were to pay out-of-pocket for their error or wait for the authorization and someone to call me back to reschedule. In my experience, my new appointment could be 6 months from now. When I asked for a timeline to reschedule, I was… told to "call back every day," a complete waste of my time. The staff member was dismissive of my valid concerns and seemed annoyed that I was asking basic questions about when I could receive the medical care I need. Mind you, my feelings of frustration on this matter are valid because this is not the first time. Despite that, I did not raise my voice or respond rudely. The core issue is a complete breakdown in their administrative process and a lack of patient care. My time, my health, and my concerns were treated as an inconvenience. Until this practice can manage its basic responsibilities like insurance authorizations and scheduling, I cannot recommend them to anyone. The doctor is nice - when I get to see her. But at this rate, I could develop some major issue between visits with how long it takes. If you think you should be allowed to ask questions so that you have clear communication without the annoyed edge, go somewhere else.
