Dr. Tong is very professional and clear in his explanations with patients. My mom and I trust his expertise. He’s an awesome doctor.

Dr. Tong lacks the professionalism and personality to be an effective doctor. He interrupted me several times during my brief appointment while I was describing the nature of my injury and how it was progressing. He has no patience and an ill-temperament, and abruptly and rudely told me that I am not qualified for the profession I am studying for. In doing so, he demonstrated he himself is not qualified for his profession which revolves around patient care and actually listening to patients, but he only cares about speeding the appointment up. I wasted my money and time visiting him, and my visit resulted in absolutely zero progression in my treatment. Because of him I had to schedule the exact same appointment with another more qualified doctor. Visit another doctor and don't waste your time with Dr. Tong because he'll just be rude to you the entire time and won't actually treat you.

This doctor was so rude he would talk over me not letting me speak, he was rushed through the whole exam. This is the worst doctor I’ve ever experienced in kaiser

His accurate diagnosis, very good bed manner, and pleasant don't make you feel nervous when you step into his clinic.
