Dr. Tena La Dawn Rosser, MD

We traveled from out of state only to be called and have our appt moved 2 hrs prior to our scheduled appt because the Dr had a meeting. We were advised they knew we scheduled this appointment months in advance and they'd hate to reschedule us. While I was upset I made it happen, I also work in healthcare and know sometimes meetings come up last minute. She had a nurse practitioner come on before her to examine and take our sons medical history before she came in. I had advised the person who initially made the appt that I didnt not want my son to see any other provider being that I know how a teaching facility works and our past experiences. Rather than make a fuss I waited for her NP to do what she needed to do. All I could see was a glare back and forth from both Dr rosser and the NP at their watch and mention they had this meeting. My sons records were not even fully reviewed and my concerns were completely dismissed. Non imaging no testing nothing, just advised to let my son walk… around with Fibromas on his back and keep an eye out for any changes. This has been by far the greatest disappointment, we drove 600 miles to be seen and only to walk out of there as just another number she will be billing our insurance. I had an appt with our Pediatrician in town and shes as appalled as we are. She has ordered testing. Something we drove 600 miles for and left empty handed. If she truly would have respect for her patients and to their parents being late to a meeting would not be a problem. My surgeons in my office do that doe every single one of our patients especially since about 60% of our patient population comes from out of town. I would never recommend this doctor to any one.

She is not attentive. Due to her overlooking my baby's medical history, a misdiagnosis, and not a strong consideration for my concern my child suffers from Infantile Spasms

Extremely knowlegeable and responsive to needs of "special child."
