I saw Dr. Colon for an emergency appointment when my Primary doctor was unavailable and I am so thankful to have been cared for by such a wonderful doctor! She is absolutely a great doctor and I could tell that I was in excellent hands from the moment she walked in and introduced herself. What great bedside manners and what a compassionate, and professional demeanor! She was very thorough, explained my issue and listened very well with knowledgeable , helpful responses. She went out of her way to ensure my understanding and comfort. She absolutely is amazing just like my current primary doctor Aurelien from the same Holy Cross org. I felt like I was touched by an Angel and will definitely seek Dr Colon out again and highly recommend her! She represents the Holy Cross brand with excellence!

Patients deserve better than abandonment, retaliation, and discrimination. After 17 years of stability and trust at Holy Cross Health, I was transferred to Dr. Teresa Colón Asumu. I experienced discrimination, unethical billing demands, and abandonment of necessary care — actions which placed my health in serious danger. Formal grievances have been filed with the Florida Department of Health, the Better Business Bureau, and legal counsel. Violations include: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Rehabilitation Act Section 504 Florida Patient's Bill of Rights (F.S. § 381.026) Consumer Review Fairness Act (15 U.S. Code § 45b) Patients with disabilities, chronic conditions, or complex needs should exercise extreme caution under Dr. Asumu’s leadership.
