Dr. Teresa Maria Deangelis, MD

Dr. D'Angelis is the best doctor I have ever seen! I have had multiple sclerosis for six years and she is always on top of my symptoms. She has referred me to other doctors to rule out other diseases when necessary and is a compassionate caring doctor. She spends her own time researching clinical data to confirm symptoms and sends you for the right testing when needed. She returns calls promptly, will see you after hours around your schedule, and even returns your calls after hours. Recently, she sent me to a hematologist to rule out other diseases and a possible contraindication with medication for a declining platelet issue I have been experiencing for two years. And, jointly with the other doctor is making a diagnosis of exclusion for ITP. As a person with multiple autoimmune diseases there is no other neurologist I would have as my primary doctor.

I'm a patient suffering from multiple sclerosis for 6 years and Dr. D'Angelis is my neurologist. Dr. D'Angelis is beyond caring, compassionate, and competent. She is always on top of my symptoms and refers for the appropriate testing immediately. She returns calls promptly and will schedule appointments around your need. She stays late to return calls and spends her own time on researching and reviewing clinical research when symptoms appear. I have had new symptoms that require a hematologist to rule out new diseases in order to confirm through a diagnosis of exclusion another autoimmune disease. Dr. D'Angelis referred me to the hematologist immediately and the diagnosis is being made via testing. I highly recommend her for anyone who has multiple sclerosis symptoms or other neurological issues.

Dr. DeAngelis literally came ‘from the angels’ and saved my life. She is an excellent listener, diagnostician and an extremely knowledgeable physician. She explains things very calmly and she speaks ‘with’ you, not ‘at’ you. She makes sure you understand everything before you leave and if you’re admitted to the hospital, she’s there every day. She is extremely empathetic and very easy to talk to! I actually look forward to my appointments with her, I wish we had met under different circumstances because if she wasn’t my doctor, I would be honored to call her my friend. Highly recommend her!!!!!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Deangelis. She is professional, knowledgeable and the kindest, most compassionate physician I’ve ever had. She never rushes you and gets back to you at once if you have a situation that requires immediate attention. She is hands down - the best there is.
