Dr. Terinell Beaver, MD

Dr Beaver has been my primary care physician for over 11 years. I will never change primary doctors! If my insurance changed and she was no longer a participating position I would still pay out-of-pocket to go to her, that’s how good she is! She is calm, kind, and understanding. She’s also excellent at diagnosing problems. She accurately diagnosed brain tumors in my friend who had a jumble of symptoms. When I went in recently complaining of ongoing extreme sleepiness she accurately guessed that I have sleep apnea, but referred me to a sleep medicine specialist to confirm. She is easily one of the best and nicest physicians I have ever seen.

I moved out of Memphis but I drive 4 hours yearly to just see Dr. Beaver -- that's how much I value her expertise. She's kind, thorough and always listens. Has seen me thru a second bout of breast cancer and now I have to tell her I have a new pacemaker. I even got my husband in to see her and he rides the 4-hours with me

The wait time was very short and Dr Beaver is patient, thorough and very open about the chart and her thoughts. She asks lots of questions, reviewed her thoughts with me and shared her opinion and next steps. Made sure I understood and was comfortable with her findings. She is a great doctor with a wonderful "bedside manner".

We love Dr. Beaver, she sees me, my husband and 22 year old daughter. She is kind and caring and is willing to do what it takes to help you with what is going on.

Will never come back to this doctor. She was insulting to say the least. First and last visit. Doesn't listen to anything you say. Wouldn't send anyone to her.

I am sadly disappointed with Dr. Beaver. Wrong prescriptions have been called in twice in the past year by this practice. Very frequently they fail to help refill my regular maintenance medication. Only after many attempts to reach them can they get it straight. "Sorry, new computer system" was the best excuse I received. Most recently, they totally ignored my many attempts to reach the doctor, and after the office promised to call-in the prescription...? They lied. Still nothing has been done. I have an appointment for a new doctor now. Life is just too busy to deal with the added stress of a poorly-managed physician's office.

This physician misdiagnosed me and prescribed a medication I did not need. She become angry when I protested that I did not have any of the symptoms she described. She tried to convince me to take medication by belittling me. I left the office feeling insulted and in tears. I sat in my car in the parking lot and cried before being able to drive home. She is not a nice person.

This doctor does not do a thorough exam. She is impatient and unwilling to give the time to answer any questions. She only relies on lab results and does not do a proper follow up. He arrogant attitude is unsettling and angering. I did not like the fact that "as an established patient" I was relegated to her nurse practitioner for a sick visit. She is less than compassionate, impatient, and unprofessional. Her staff regularly talks about different patients in the hall ways so their is no privacy with your medical information.

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Beaver (this was my second visit). My wait time was very short and once I reached the examining room the nurse was there to start the process. She was very professional and attentive. I was very pleased with the treatment. In fact, I was already feeling much better by bedtime. I was so pleased that she was willing to get to the problem and precribe what was needed to start the healing process! So many doctors like to "try" certain things to keep you coming back. This was not the case with Dr. Beaver. I totally recommend her to anyone. Of course, we all have our own opinions of people. I sure that will be others that will disagree with me, but this is MY opinion.

Dr Beaver is a good doctor.Some of the people in the office could be a little unprofessional.Like I went to a appointment and when i got ready to leave I had some question.There was a lady that enter my room I though she was the nurse but she was trying to check me out.She told the medical assistant outside the door that I kept asking question and blah so She did have time to schedule me.I think if you are going to talk about so don't do it in front of the door were they can hear.She was the only person I had a problem with.I wish In would have gotten her name.
