Dr. Terrell Paul Winkler, MD

My visits were has allegedly sexualized as others who complain here. He finally closed his practice, sold his waterfront home and moved to a high-priced senior living facility in Jacksonville, FL. He'll likely hide out there until the end, unpunished for his professional misdeeds.

I'll testify to immoral, sexualized procedures. Where do I sign up?

In reading carefully other reviews posted here on the techniques Dr. Winkler performs to do prostate exams, I, as a patient, and another urologist I have consulted have concluded his procedure is blatant sexual assault. A prostate exam normally takes 1 min. or less. His fingers were in my rectum for 3-5 min. and he ordered me to "pump" back and forth on his fingers. This is tantamount to digit sexual intercourse, not a medical procedure. Other doctors, most notably "Olympian" doctors go to prison for sexual abuse. I've heard one of his patients was able to record this same abusive prostate exam on his cell phone and is offering it to law enforcement as evidence of a doctor guilty of sexual assault on many patients over a long period of time. Former patients are being contacted to determine if they would testify to Winkler's unlawful and immoral acts in his oceanside office.

Yah, like one of the other patients that did a review here, I too had a very unusual and prolonged prostate "exam". I say "exam" in quotes because it felt more like a sexual assault. No other urologist I've spoken with says its proper procedure for a digital rectal prostate exam to require repeated back, forth finger motions, squeezing on the part of the patient and thrusting, lasting at least several minutes or more.

Same as others. Sent wrong prescription. Unusual rectal exams. Horrible experiences. Unbelievable waits. Rude.

I called this office today to make an appointment for follow up after passing a kidney stone. The receptionist was not pleasant at all and made me feel as though I was an inconvenience to her. After getting off the phone with her I didn't feel comfortable at all with actually seeing this doctor. If his front line staff that are in contact with new patients and are the face of the office make the patient feel like an inconvenience for making them actually do their job, I will go to another doctor where I am treated with courtesy and not inconvenience. I don't know her name because she need not offer that.

I went to see this doc 3-4 times and had small procedure done by him. It was a big mistake.

He did a digital rectal (prostate) exam, but other doctors say his procedure of holding his finger inside for a prolonged period of time and telling you to squeeze and push back is not a routine prostate exam. 2 other doctors say it borders on a prohibited act...I'm sure I don't have to spell it out for you fellas.

Despite video here of his credentials, he is no longer listed as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. A video on vitals.com shows past awards. But search the Castle Connolly Top Doctor website and a search by name, specialty no longer finds a listing for him. Castle Connolly has read patient complaints here and elsewhere and quietly purged. These repeated complaints about painful in-office procedures that should only be done in a controlled hospital setting are outrageous and not in the best interests of patients.

Performed surgery in his office. To this day question the necessity and the way it was done. Felt very uncomfortable with this doctor.
