Dr. Terry Arthur Huff

Horrible. Unprofessional. Won't release medical records. Have already contacted my attorney to move forward. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I saw this man in 2016. For a year and a half I had been experiencing excruciating periods and when I finally went to see a Dr, he was the only one my insurance approved. I drove two hours to the appointment and spent maybe 10 minutes in the room with him. I sat on the table bawling my eyes out trying to express my concerns about my symptoms and he sat there with his head in his hand half looking like he was about to nod off. He didn't ask me a single question, not once did he try to figure out what was going wrong in my body. Ten minutes with this man and he wrote me a bc script, didn't even explain to me how it worked then left the room. I left the building crying. I felt so unheard and disrespected. It took me five years to regain the courage to see a new doctor and right away she ordered tests and within an hour she explained to me that the horrid symptoms I have been living with since I was 21 is a result of adenomyosis. That's it. One little flick of the pen was all it could have… taken him to do his job properly. Five years of emotional damage and feeling like I was crazy because this man disrespected his degree by not listening to a patients legitimate concerns. According to other reviews this was not the first or last of his horrible treatment of patients. I think about his behavior every time I lay in bed in agony, how I could have known years ago what my body was doing if he had just been kind. That's all it takes to be a good doctor, bloody kindness.

I cannot recommend this physician. It was my daughter's first baby, and she received very little education in his office. He was quick and not engaging. During her last visit prior to delivery, he performed an internal exam that was extremely aggressive, and did not ask permission to do so. I believe he was trying to strip the membranes in an attempt to stimulate labor. She was relieved that another doctor was covering for him on the day she delivered.

I moved to AZ 18 years ago. Dr huff delivered my daughter. Removed my tubes and did a ablation on my uterus. I have never had a problem. I have been a patient for the entire time

This physician has many years of experience, but I cannot recommend. He never spent much time with my daughter, and was not informative. The office staff was okay, never experienced a problem, but the doctor left much to be desired. During the end of my daughter’s pregnancy, he performed a very painful internal exam without explaining ahead of time what he was going to do. He should have taken the time to inform her, and also received her verbal consent. When she recently delivered her baby, a registered nurse at the hospital commented, in so many words, that he is not a highly regarded physican.

My daughter moved to the area while being 28 weeks along in a high risk pregnancy with her first child. I met her doctor when she was just over 37 weeks. He did not appear happy when i questioned certain things. We felt very rushed during appointments. He did not deliver. Baby had complications but is doing well now. My daughter just made a 5 week follow up with him because she's experiencing post partum depression. He asked her many questions but in the end, gave her no new medicine to help her and did not provide her with a referral for a doctor who could help her. Again, she's new to the area and a young first time mom. Very unacceptable!

Dr. Terry Huff is a wonderful, compassionate and caring doctor with a heart of gold. He and his office staff make you feel like you are very special even though they see many patients every day. I have been a patient ther for over 24 years, I trust in him and have been very pleased.

Getting appointment was fast, ques like every job, some were happy, but the one taking my blood wasn't so happy she said she ready to quit .. i met This Dr Huff and i listen to what he had to say. to make a LONG story short.. He may be great for you, If your having a baby. Now keep in mind am WAY in to my 50s, So iv seen a lot of Dr Thur my time.What i have going is life or death, He did not take the time to look at dvds i took to him from other Dr only read one medical paper. told me how busy he is. They forgot to send my ins paper in to get the okay for surgery found that out after two weeks! After i found all this out Dr Huff and i drop each other like a HOT POTATO!!! Then he said on the phone i would not be able to even see a Dr in two weeks much less have the surgery done in 4.. Hey Dr Huff!!! I seen a Great Dr AND Had the surgery done in less then 3 WEEKS!!! So People if you really got something going on that needs ASAP Attention. Listen to your gut!!! REMEMBER!! JUST BECAUSE… Dr Is in the front of there Name dose not mean they know EVERYTHING!!! Some of our Dr are like our Politician FULL OF POOP!!!!

Dr. Huff performed not one but . Two diagnostic pelvic laps and diagnosed me with endometriosis but failed to treat it both times! Why would you just go in and "look around" I have been in terrible pain the last few years and also suffer from infertility due to the endometriosis and he has done anything BUT help. Do NOT bother with this practice. He pretends to care but all he cares about is what he can bill the insurance for...

Dr. Huff has been an amazing doctor to me over the past 5 years. He actually diagnosed my PCOS after 10 years of discomfort and mis-diagnosing from other professionals. There was a good chance that I could not get pregnant and I was devastated. All I wanted was to be a "mommy". With his help and treatment I was pregnant within a year. My delivery of my first girl was a breeze considering she was almost 10 pounds and 22 inches. He was able to deliver her vaginally and I did not rip or need a Episiotomy. That in itself is amazing. He was attentive and always listened to me and my concerns no matter how crazy they may have sounded. 2 years later I had an "oops" pregnancy. Awesome speaking that we did not even think we could have one. This little was a fast grower. We scheduled a c-section and tubal ligation. He was phenomenal. I have very minimal scaring and my healing time was quick. I absolutely love all his office staff. They were all happy to see me and made me feel welcome. They… accepted my playful, sarcastic and open personality. I feel like they were family. They always got me an appt at the last minute if I needed one. My phone calls were returned within a reasonable time and they were always happy to help. Bonnie is an wonderful nurse and easy to talk to. I cannot say enough. I have not been this impressed and happy with any doctors office. You usually have some complaints whether it be the staff, the doctors personality or beliefs. But I can tell you I not one bad thing to say about this practice!
