The way he touched me and things he said didn't feel right. It's really my fault for not seeing a female Doctor.

Very unprofessional exam experience

Is totally unaware of his ignorance in many areas. Arrogant, as a result.

I am not willing to say the situation, however dr.zanovich is the bomb. Great bedside manner as well

Always treated me like I should know everything, don't ask questions. Told me that my baby died and he wasn't on call so another doctor in the group whom I had never meant, delivered by stillborn, and gave me more attention in those few hours than the entire time I had seen Dr. Zanovich before the baby had died. Everytime I find out someone is pregnant, I make sure they aren't seeing Dr. Zanovich

I was recommended to this Doctor with my first pregnancy. I changed Doctors after my second appointment cause he made me feel very uncomfortable. I switched to a female OBGYN that makes me feel safer.

During my first pregnancy he gave me a pelvic and breast exam every time I had an appointment and took his sweet time doing it. This is why I refuse to see male Ob-gyns!

I scheduled an appt. for birth control (Depo). The secretary confirmed that I wasn't due for my annual exam & that I only needed my Depo shot. I printed off the new patient paperwork & had it filled out for my appt. I arrived & the nurse took me back. She then proceeded to ask me every question that I had already answered on the new pt paperwork. She then told me that they didn't carry Depo at their office & that I would have to go get it from the pharmacy myself. Dr. Zanovich came in & seemed extremely happy & friendly. He was very jovial as he joked with me & seemed like a very nice man. His personality completely changed when he told me he would be doing a breast exam & a vaginal exam & I told him I wasn't due for my annual exam yet & that I have an appt. in a couple months for that. He told me that he refused to give me Depo unless I let him do my annual exam. He said he didn't know if anything was wrong with me. I told him that I included all of my past medical history… along with names, addresses, & phone numbers & fax numbers of my past providers & that I had included a release so he could have access to all of my medical history. He angrily told me that that wouldn't help at all saying "Well I can't just pull that information out of the clouds" . Dr. Zanovich is the reason I refuse to have a man doing annual exams on me. I personally believe he is in this profession for the wrong reasons. He reflects poorly on every man in the OB-GYN field. I was so upset that he treated me this way I started crying. He remained just as cold and callous as he was when he found out I didn't need an exam that day with him. I believe he would have remained a very nice, happy acting man if I would have let him do what he wanted. I ended up feeling very threatened and uncomfortable with this man.
