He later completed a sports and spine fellowship in nonoperative sports injury treatments under his mentor, Dr. Gerard Malanga, at the Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation UMDNJ. Dr. Agesen has a wide range of clinical interests, including sports medicine, electrodiagnostics, and the treatment of acute and chronic tendon, …ligament, back, and joint disorders. Along with his partners, Dr. Malanga and Dr. Jay E. Bowen, Dr. Agesen serves as the team physician for several local high schools and universities in the New Jersey area. He treats athletes of all ages and levels, ensuring they remain at the top of their game.
