Was very aggressive didn’t communicate at all put his fingers and the ultrasound wand that he roughly pushed on my stomach inside of me without asking if I wanted him to or even telling me he was going to wasn’t there for that either didn’t have an infection before my cervix was completely fine but now I’m worried because he didn’t change his gloves or wash his hands and I left feeling violated it’s been an entire day and it still hurts I’ve been very reluctant and not okay with having male obs but I decided sense this appointment didn’t require anything going inside of me it would be fine but I was wrong he has really solidified my fear in male doctors the cherry on top was after he made me incredibly uncomfortable he left the room and didn’t tell us anything I didn’t get a napkin or something to wipe away all of the gel that was shoved into my vagina just awful

I could not have asked for a better Dr. Dr. Barefoot was my Dr. through my entire pregnancy and took great care of me and my baby girl! He is extremely knowledgeable and straight forward which helped to ease my mind. He kept a close check on my gestational diabetes and thanks to him our baby girl had no complications. I am so thankful for Dr. Barefoot and all he did for us over the past 9 months.

I've been a satisfied patient for 22 years. I've had one surgery and he delivered my only child. He was outstanding!! He knows I'm terrified of pain....even passed out on him before! Not because of him just me not tolerating any kind of pain! He made me feel as comfortable as I could possibly be as I knew it was going to hurt like no other pain I've ever felt. I managed giving birth and he delivered a healthy, happy baby! I didn't even pass out!!!! If I ever have a concern or just a simple question, I always get an answer in a timely manner. He's highly recommended!!!!

Dr Barefoot recently did my hysterectomy using the DaVinci Robot and did an excellent job. I had essentially no pain and went home the next day. No big incision. Was back to my normal routines by 2wks. Now at 8wks out, feel great and have had no regrets. Great bed-side manner, caring, thorough, and available. Highly recommend.

Dr. Barefoot has been the best doctor ever! I have had complicated GYN problems for years, and no one has been able to treat me like Dr. Barefoot. Like the patient below, I had heavy bleeding. Dr. Barefoot put me on birth control and worked with me until we found one that worked for me. The patient below did Dr. Barefoot a disservice by blaming him for the side effects of one treatment option-- she should have gone back to see him and he would have been happy to explore other options. Dr. Barefoot is very kind and accessible and I would recommend him to anyone.

5 minutes with this doctor has left me with 7 years of misery and torment. He prescribed a high dose birth control to counter heavy bleeding. whoa, what did he do to me? my metabolism changed, weight changed, no longer the person I was before, and by law he can get away with this? When i called to report the scary side effects I was having they would not let me speak to the doctor nor did he call back. they told me what I was experiencing was normal and stay on it and it will right itself. I wish I could hold him down & make him take the junk he gives out to women and then says what you are going through is all in your head. the resulting swelling, insulin resistance and shortness of breath, dizziness and imbalance is incredible. wish he could have a taste of his own medicine.
