I would not take my cat to have surgery with this Dr.After a total knee replacement. in 2007 ,I have never been the same.He knew he messed up .Wanted to redo the knee 6 months after the initial surgery. Lied from the start and said he could fix the bowing out.He never did.When I asked him about it be just blew it off.Saying he couldn't fix it.He has NO compassion.If he couldn't fix the problem why did he say he could.This surgery has ruined my life.Thanks to Thomas Bear.Please people get a second opinion and may be even a third.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. BEAR'S SINCE 1991. I HAD TORN MY QUADRACEPT OUT OF MY KNEE AND THE MUSCLE SHORTENED. HE WAS ABLE TO REPAIR IT AND I WAS BACK TO WORK IN FOUR WEEKS, NO PAIN. IN 2008 HE FIXED THE SAME KNEE WITH ORTHO WORK TO TAKE OUT SCAR TISSUE AND FIX THE MENISCUS , NO PROBLEM AGAIN. IN 2013 HE GAVE ME A NEW HIP! HE IS KIND, STAR QUALIFIED AND AS LONG AS I CAN DRIVE THE 58 MILES TO SEE HIM HE IS THE BEST!! I LOVE THIS DR. DDB

This doctor was compassionate and quite knowledgeable about the total knee replacement. He understood my particular needs and wants and he contacted all members of my health team.

Dr. Bear is a terrific doctor. He is very professional and treats each of his patients with kindness. All of my concerns were explained in a manner which I was able to understand. After my surgery he spoke to my family and explain precisely what he had found and done. At my follow up appointment Dr. Bear showed me numerous before and after pictures of my procedure with explanation. I have recommended Dr. Bear to several friends and family members and they have also been pleased with him.

This Doc is truly of of the best! His diagnoses and treatments are spot on, and his bedside manner and personality are fantastic! I recommend him to all who are in need of knee or hip treatment.
