I walked into his office wanting to know what he could do for me after I had been diagnosed. We spoke at length and I thought he was too straightforward. But that was what I needed to hear at that time to make a decision. Today he has successfully replaced my hip. He is a good Dr.

I have torn meniscus. Asked him what is a meniscus and he told me to Google it. I ended my appt right there. Terrible

I wanted a second opinion and maybe that was the issue from the get go! From the minute he walked in the room he was very aloof, disinterested and to the point of being rude. I brought my disc of MRI scans and the report. The disc would not open on any of their computers so when he walked in he sat down and asked why I was there. I stumbled on my words because I had filled out all the forms, he proceeded to ask again why I was there , what “joint” was it, what area??? I asked “didn’t you read the report I brought in?”... He had not!! I told him it was my right knee, his response was “there you go” as if I finally answered his question... Once this apt was over he said “you have your second opinion, go and enjoy the rest of your life. Let me show you the first steps to doing that. ( As he pointed to the exit door!! ) Needless to say I would not go back to him or recomend his services!! This the first Dr I have seen at LL that I feel was a waste of time!

Hip replacement. talk to Bergdorf replaced my right hip, everything went wonderfully, I actually had no pain. I have recommended this doctor to quite a few friends. Great doctor, he tells you how it is. I will go to him again if something else comes up .

I broke my leg in 2006 another dr fixed it , a year later Tom Burgdorff had to take it apart and fixed it like it should have been done the first time. He was supposed to be here to do my knees. : ( He is very truthful, if you don't want the truth, don't ask the question.
