Dr. Thomas Duckett, MD

Saw him for a recurrent issue that another urologist in town couldn’t figure out. He took a detailed history and physical, not the typical in and out appointment. After reviewing my chart and lab results he explained what he thought it was and how it planned to treat it. Success! So grateful he is now my doctor.

My primary physician recommended that I see Dr. Duckett for an ongoing and complicated condition that I had. He was patient and compassionate as I explained my problems. I thought I had many things wrong with me but he helped me understand how the different symptoms were actually the result of an underlying condition. Dr. Duckett explained the course of treatment that would resolve my symptoms and prevent further complications. I am relieved to have finally found an answer to my health problem and a doctor who knows how to treat it. It took a few weeks to get an appointment with him but it was worth the wait.

i saw dr duckett before he became involved in the sutter health care mill and had no problem getting an appointment. He is a very good, kind doctor. I have recently tried to get an appointment with dr. duckett for a very urgent and painful matter that is not responding to treatment and now debilitating. I have had a very hard time getting a timely appointment via the sutter healthcare mill. First staff told me I needed a written doctor referral. It took a week to get this. Once the written referral was faxed over i called to make the appointment and was told they were still booking appointments 3 weeks out but I could see the physicians assistant. Then the sutter staff told me my doctor needs to call dr. duckett directly to get an expedited appointment. Bottom line if you have a very urgent matter either find another doctor or be prepared to wait and risk becoming more ill while waiting. I'm through with waiting and going to the ER. What a shame medicine is becoming so… hard to access.

I took my father to see Dr. Duckett because he was recommended by another doctor. He answered all our questions, explained the test results and best treatment options. He was very thorough and didn't rush us out of the office like so many doctors do now.

Dr. Duckett spent close to 45 minutes with me making sure all my questions were answered. He described my options clearly and honestly, pros and cons. My friend is a surgical nurse in this area and told me he is the one to see if surgery is a possibility.
