Dr Kayal is amazing. He is so skilled and has an incredible bedside manner. I'm so very lucky to have had him on my cancer journey. From the beginning he had me at ease and had a detailed plan of action for my journey. I owe this doctor my life and am forever grateful.

Some of the reviews here overexaggerated his blunt character as 'rude' and doesn't give a fair feedback of Doctor Kayal. From my personal experience, he's very sincere and really values his patients' health. If you're lucky enough to find him, then you should be very glad that you're in good hands :)

Takes Humana and I guess other insurances that are for old people only. Appointment weeks in advance for them to tell you 3 days before by the by we don't take your insurance.

Very rude and not knowledgeable tried to force me to go to the operating room for something that didn't need surgery

My dad went to Dr Kayal because of rectal bleeding. After a scope examination he was told he had diverticulitis. He even tried to throw the gastro doc under the bus blaming him as being an alarmist. After the bleeding wouldn't stop he suggested a colonoscopy. After being unable to perform a full colonoscopy because he was afraid of the bleeding, my dad was told in the most cold and uncaring presentation, that he had cancer. We tried to ask questions after being surprised because he originally told us diverticulitis, but he was rude and short and insulting. He even asked me what I did for a living to try to make me feel like my questions were ridiculous. Because of Dr. Kayal's lack of confidence, we left and sought alternate treatment. Dr. Kayal told my dad that "you are the last person on earth I want to operate on." We knew then that he was the last Dr. on earth that we would ever let touch my dad. We went elsewhere

What a difference when you find a doctor who REALLY knows what they are doing. Dr. Kayal exudes confidence and that is transferred to the patient. Many conditions are scary and unknown to most but Dr. Kayal calmly explained my condition to me as well as my family which eased the natural anxiety one has on their way to the Operating Room. He took the time to answer all our questions and concerns in a way that was both understandable and encouraging. Most doctors are smart. Not only is Dr. Kayal smart but he also knows what he's doing. Experience tells me they are not the same. He is an elite professional.
