It is really encouraging to find a bilingual doctor that listen to all my questions and explains clearly and kindly my conditions.

Personable. Direct. Effective. Would highly recommend.

Reading all the reviews, I am sure he is a great doctor for some that maybe are easier to diagnose, but he spends limited time and does not listen at all. Passes the buck on paperwork and refuses to fill out when he is the attending physician. He did try some options for my issues and some work and found one that diagnosed more then he did. Surprisingly he did not read their notes or seems to care what their findings are. Very frustrated working with this Doctor. I am attempting to get better not more stressed out. Returning to my primary hoping to get a different referral so that I can have a doctor that is working with me and not fighting me on paperwork and my medical issues. His staff however is incredible and very good. They are easy to work with and wonderful to talk to.

We have seen Dr. Leavens for several years and are very pleased with his care. After having no help from another doctor, Seizures subsided under his guidance He is very personable and easy to talk with.

Dr Leavens listens and is compassionate. His bedside manner is friendly, and he is funny and will crack jokes with you. I would recommend him to anyone.

Brought my husband to Dr. Leavens because we knew something was not right - there had been troubling changes. His primary care physician just kind of blew me off, but Dr. Leavens actually listened to us, did a thorough work up on my husband, gave us a diagnosis, and is working on a treatment plan. YES!! And he has a great sense of humor. We even like his nurse.

Dr. Leavens obviously is too busy to fill out FMLA papers with Cigna Insurance. I went for my appointment. I filled out all HIS paperwork. When I asked the receptionist if he would sign my Cigna Insurance papers every 6 months for FMLA, he refused. A day wasted. I have NEVER met a doctor who is dead set against filling out simple papers. Very bad customer service.

Dr. Leavens is a phenomenal practitioner who I would wholeheartedly recommend to close family and friends. He was patient as I explained my concerns in detail, spent time asking questions while testing performing a neuro eval, and he had clearly read my chart in detail before our meeting. He spent the most time talking with me I've ever experienced at a doctors office. His follow up plan was well explained, thoughtful, and thorough and when my results arrived, although benign, he called to explain the "normal variants" to me to be sure I understood and wasn't needlessly alarmed. I am so thrilled to have Dr. Leavens as a doctor - he's a class act and truly a gem. I couldn't rate him more highly.

Went for a tremor, found out it's essential. Still very thorough exam and very nice visit. Would highly recommend.

I have seen several neuroligists during my lifetime because of chronic migraines. Dr. Leavins is very patient with me, willing to try new things , very knowledgable about treatments available and in all just an excellent doctor who seems to really care about his patients. I would recommend him without hestitation to anyone.
