Dr. Thomas Dwight Mccoy, MD

Dr.McCoy is one of the kindest physicians you will ever meet. A true gentleman. He has always cared for his patients with passion and dignity. He listens well, and always makes sure you understand the diagnosis. Many of my friends, young and old, see this doctor. Everyone has only positive words to say. We are very fortunate to have him in our community. I am grateful for his patience, wisdom, and confidence. Thank you!

dr mccoy the invincible, he has a wonderful bedside manner that makes you want to go to the doctors. and you feel like home when your there. his staff are very friendly as well. you feel at home at dr mccoys office. i wish he could deliver all of my kids. He's The Best!

stopped individualizing estrogen replacement therapy. Used to give me what I needed but then changed. Also would not check thyroid which may have been a contributing factor to my needs. I realize that is up to each dr. to decide but I know that menopausal women should be checked for thyroid function especially if you take estrogen replacement therapy and continue to have some persistent symptoms. Goes too much by lab numbers not enough by symptoms. Seemed easily swayed by a pharmacist who decided (for me) that I could take whatever everyone else takes. All it took to throw my hormones out of balance again was a phone call or two from a pharmacist to get him to change it. That should never be a pharmacist's decision alone & then calling the dr. about it when I was doing good.

Used to be very good about individualizing ERT prescriptions. He seemed to tell me one thing in the office and do something entirely different without consulting me. Didn't really dig deep enough to get rid of all my symptoms.. He seemed to go along with what he and the pharmacies decided what was best for me without talking to me first and never "went to bat" for me with insurances.

Doctor McCoy is a FANTASTIC OB/GYN. I saw him for the first time last week, as he works in an office with 3 other OB doctors, and I wish that I could see him every visit. He was very warm and kind from the moment he entered the room. Wanted to know how I was feeling and about my pregnancy. He was gentle and patient with me, and let me know what he was doing and why. He also gave me time to ask questions and answered them thoroughly. I would absolutely recommend this doctor to any expectant mothers, and will be switching to his private practice after my birth!

I love Dr McCoy and his staff. He never makes me feel stupid or rushed. I feel very comfortable asking him anything.

Insurance issues are not the doctors fault - please check into the issue more carefully rather than blaming the wrong person.

Dr's staff told me I needed to pay a balance before they could schedule me. I paid it, then they refused to schedule me, SCAM!!

Dr.McCoy was a excellent dr, he just delieverd my first baby and I wouldn't have choosen anyone else for this. He has a great bedside manner compared to other obgyn's I have been too,also you get the one on one care you need and you always see the same Dr which is great. Your wait time is anywhere from 10-20min as long as hes not delivering.The office staff were also wonderful great group of women.So if your looking for a obgyn I would highly recommend Dr.McCoy to anyone!
