Dr. Thomas Charles Origitano, MD

Total hack job! This guy is a vindictive piece of human garbage that sent me back to work with no restrictions when I had just been diagnosed with TWO herniated discs in my neck! I guess he thinks it's a good thing if they rupture and he gets to use his knife.

We met Dr Origitano, when he was at Loyola. I was at a lost. All the other Nuerologist, for my wifes seizures, were in the "Take your pills and call me next month" Mode. After we spoke, and I expressed my frustrations, he right away, set it up, for her to get seizure evaluated! Since then, he steered us to another Nuerologist. We have bounced around a few other doctors....and my wife has had brain surgery, a Vegas Nerve implant installed in her...but still has seizures. I will try to contact Dr Origitano, and perhaps, he can do a full evaluation, of where we went, and were we are at now. Because, after we moved on, were still feeling, like were NOT gaining any ground. Tim De Lord

It's been over a year since my surgery to correct a herniation as a result of an operation to remove a brain tumor with a different doctor. I still haven't been able to find someone as good as him. It'd be great if he decided to come back since he's now in Montana. Loyola lost a great doctor :(

I sought Dr. Origitano's opinion in 2009 in connection with a then recently diagnosed brain aneurysm. He was good but unremarkable at my initial appointment. Most notably, he seemed offended that he was the second doctor we saw. Per his orders, I had an angiogram done to help determine the best course of action. While the doctor who performed the angiogram briefly (i.e. in no more than 90 seconds) mentioned that the aneurysm would require traditional surgery, I wanted to confer with Dr. Origitano regarding next steps. Neither he nor his nurse ever responded to my calls.

excellent Doctor very...very nice ...great surgen ...did major brain operation on me 4 years ago ...took out most of slow growing brain tumor .would never even dream of seeing another brain surgen ...was also correct about another problem i had with my eye's ...said vision loss was not do to brain tumor / was right .... birth defect

Its very scary to be diagnosed with a brain tumor, but Dr Origitano not only explained it all to me in a very eary to understand way, but encouraged me to seek a second opinion. I see him on a follow-up basis every year, and am so thankful that I met him! His dry sense of humor made me feel at ease, but his concerned advice made me know that he was serious about helping me.

All the symptoms of Alzhiemers buy it wasn't; quick accurate diagnosis and nopressure to have a procedure.....Excellent explanation and concerned follow up

He has saved my husband's life twice, and is honest and straightforward, but does not come across as cold and scientific like many neurosurgeons we've consulted with. I highly recommend him; he is a wonderful and knowledgeable neurosurgeon.

It's unfortunate that there isn't a rating higher than "Excellent" This man is in my prayers and I am sure in the prayers of my brother. God bless him.
