Dr Rashid is the best urologist we have ever seen and we have seen many since my husband has always been prone to kidney stones. He thoroughly explained in terms we could understand. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist.

He truly cares, puts all options out there. Great personality!

I’ve had dr rashid for years and never had a problem until recently. Had a referral from my other doctor to see rashid as an urgent case they refused to call me and schedule me I called several times as this was a serious matter and the First Lady said I wasn’t even in the computer and didn’t know when I could be seen. Ended up in the ER because of this when I got out dr rashid office was supposed to STILL call me to see me and they didn’t so once again I called and same issue as before that they couldn’t schedule me they didn’t know when I would be seen and that their still reviewing the referral to determine when I should get in (even though was already rushed to the ER!! )I’m hurt,shocked, and devastated by the negligence of this office.Its terrifying when you put your health in someone’s hands that your supposed to be able to trust and they treat you as if they don’t care!

A psychology professor very recently said I have 3 things going against me when it comes to doctors and nurse practitioners listening to me: I am older, female, & need to lose weight. I am beginning to think she is right and that they no longer care or have much respect for those who fit into any of those categories. A nurse practitioner in this group did not listen to me at all and caused me severe grief. (SHE would get a MINUS 10 stars!) The doctor hasn't yet proven to be much better. The office manager was VERY and EXTREMELY unprofessional when I tried to address the nurse practitioner issue with her. Do they all have themselves on such a high pedestal they think the patient is ignorant and can't begin to have a legitimate thought in their head about their own bodies? When most of us get older we get wiser and have probably had some experience with our body going downhill and may have some good ideas as to how to help the doctor etc help us, if they would truly listen.

He is awesome!

He was my urologist for a couple of years before I moved out of state. He was awesome. He was straightforward and listened. Anyone having him as a doctor is blessed.

Great diagnosis of problem, sense of humor, candor, and bedside manner before and after surgery. Highly recommend.

I became his patient after CAT scans/X-rays in the ER indicated kidney stones and a minor bowel obstruction. It was just the luck of the draw and he put in a stint and I'll have the deeply imbedded stones removed in a couple of weeks. I liked him and he even has a quick whit/sense of humor. He explained my situation and, while obviously busy, answered my few questions straight up. He has an excellent bedside manner and I couldn't be happier with him on my side.

Was referred to Dr. Rashid by another physician. I have been to Iowa City, Northwestern and many Urologists in between. I have never been so pleased with a Doctor, He performed a Nephrectomy. Due to his expertise the surgery took less time than he expected. He is truly concerned, and honestly cares about you as an individual. After putting this surgery off for over 5 years, I can only say I am so thankful I was referred to Dr. Rashid. He truly is the best!
