Dr. Rock has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon since 1983 and board-certified in 1987. He graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 1978 and served his surgical residency and orthopedic surgical residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital from 1978 to 1982. He was a pediatric orthopedic resident at Newington Childrens Hospital and Chief of Orthopedics resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital from 1982 to 1983. He has presented numerous lectures on spinal surgery, with special interest in microendoscopic and percutaneous spinal fusion, as well as treatment of cervical and lumbar degenerative disc disease with interbody implants.
