Dr. Thomas Robert Whalen, MD

I appreciate him because he's very easy going and knowledgeable. He doesn't stress you out while pregnant and makes things easy.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE'S THINGS ABOUT DR. WHALEN. HE HAS DELIVERED BOTH OF MY DAUGHTERS AND I HAVE NEVER HAD AN APPOINTMENT THAT HE WASN'T AVAILABLE TO SEE ME AND TAKE THE TIME OUT TO ADDRESS ALL MY CONCERNS:) THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

For me I always feel so uncomfortable when dealing with "female problems" and Dr. Whalen just immediately puts you at ease, as does his secretarial staff the minute you walk in the door or call on the phone. Always polite, always patient, always sincere, and quick to feel medication you may have been described. They're the best!!!!

I likely wouldn't be sitting here today if he hadn't taken my worries seriously, and my baby wouldn't be as well. He doesn't just shrug your concerns off, he genuinely cares. He knows his stuff! I will never go to another doctor as long as he's practicing. He is also gentle. I have had many rough doctors that make me bleed and cramp after a routine pap. Doesn't happen with him, and he's super quick. I no longer dread my annuals. Hands down best doctor I've been to, and I've been to a lot.

Dr. Whalen is the best! I moved out of state for several years and still came back to see him!

Dr. Whalen is the best gyno i have ever had! He makes you feel comftorable and at ease. Plus he is quick! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Whalen delivered my first child and was wonderful He discovered a disease I had because of his hunch. He entertained my desire to try and deliver my child naturally, but knew it was unlikely. I have called after hours and received prompt call backs, even directly from his home. He has never made me feel like he did not have time for my questions or rush my appointments. I feel he is very caring and I would not have any other doctor deliver my second child or be my OB. His staff is also wonderful, I have not had any problems with any of his staff. I have been with him for 11 years.

I read nothing but good reviews, so I thought he would be a good fit. Dr. Thomas Whalen was probably the least caring doctor I have ever met. His receptionist also happens to be the rudest person on the planet. I am afraid to call her. I had a miscarriage, and the DR. left me hanging for weeks. No returned phone calls, no follow up visits, no results on lab work. When I finally called the office screaming for a call back for a follow up visit, I received a call the same day with a message containing a Doctor's phone number, and that I should call him and have him ask for the records. I don't know what I ever did to Dr. Whalen to deserve such awful treatment, but I would stay away!!

Dr. Whalen is great and I love having his as my doctor but one of his office staff is very unfriendly and lack professionalism. She hang up on me before I could even finish my sentence.
