Dr. Timothy T Duke, MD

I work for a surgeon and I have been trying to get a correct auth submitted for a mutual patient since 9/5/2024. Shari Hagler that works in the auth department would not respond to a request for her to call me to discuss the auth and that the one she submitted to Humana was correct. It took from 9/5 to 10/2 to even get a fax from her and what she faxed was incorrect. I had to speak to a supervisor at the clinic to even get that fax. The authorization process is horrendous at this office. You can't even call and speak to the auth department you have to rely on the clinic to pass them messages. That is not good for patient care. I never ever even received a call back in over a month of calling and leaving messages.

Trash talks to you in a very disrespectful manner…. Does not care at all what happens to you . Ignorant to a fault ….. Very unpleasant !!!! He was my primary at Ocshner

I highly disagree with the reviewer who said Dr. Duke has a bad bedside manner! He is a great doctor and very caring. He is laid-back, but that's just him--he's a very good man. He spends all the time with me that we both need to address my issues. I have a chronic illness that causes a number of side problems, and I take a lot of meds that cause issues, too. He is so patient and knowledgeable about all of these things. His nurses are friendly, and I never have to wait long to be seen. They are all very responsive to questions by phone or through their patient app. In summary, I really like Dr. Duke and think he is an excellent doctor! I would recommend him to anyone.

Would not see this doctor. He does not care about patients.
