Dr. Timothy L Miller, MD

I went to Dr. Miller for what I thought was a torn meniscus. It wasn’t very visible on an MRI but it was bothering me. I was also diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis after getting this MRI. I went to see him to see if I needed to alter my distance running in any way and to see if I could get this meniscus repaired. He looked at the MRI CD before allowing me to explain that I had a bike fall, immediately told me that my arthritis was SEVERE and that if I continued at the level at which I want to run, I would need a knee replacement. Wow. I cried. I love running and I know once you get a replacement, your running days are over. He barely examined my knee to actually find where the meniscus pain was coming from, just looked at images, asked if I was limping and left the room, prescribing physical therapy and a running gait analysis. Thankfully, I got a second opinion, had my meniscus repaired and should be back to running in a few months. I still have arthritis but MRI images don’t tell… the full story. My arthritis barely bothers me, the tear was bothering me. Just because the MRI barely showed it doesn’t mean it wasn’t an issue. So glad I saw a new doc who was willing to try arthroscopic surgery. I would recommend this man to no one.

My son came to see Dr Miller after experiencing pain in the back of both of his legs. Dr Miller correctly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately to correct the problem it would require surgery. I was concerned because Dr Miller looked so young and we had no reviews on him. He was so thorough and so patient that we decided to have him perform the surgery. Dr Miller did an excellent job. My son is doing great! I would recommend him to anyone! His bedside manner is the best I've seen with any physician
