Dr. Timothy Leon Mullins, MD

I have had several visit to this doctor. He ordered a CT scan that was a total waste of time and money. On my last visit, I had a 10:30 appointment and he finally got to me at 11:30. I questioned him about being so late and he showed no concern. How do you get an hour behind from 9:00 am until 10:30 am? From my dealings and care, I felt he was dragging me along in getting my two issues taken care of. I will not be going back to him because I do not feel my health needs were being met. I was referred to him and that may be due to the care given. Anyway, that is my review and my opinion on the care I received. No results obtained over several visits. Going somewhere else for care.

Had a terrible experience. dr Mullins inserted a piece of paper towel into my bladder when he put the scope in. No apology and expects for me to pay for this sub standard care. Sure things happen but own it when it does. He showed no concern for patient. He was only concerned with getting his phone to take pictures of the screen. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Mullins damaged my bladder with a catheter that was too big. I have been suffering for at least four years. I had four operations to repair the damage caused by this doctor and and three of the four doctors who operated on my bladder have suggested that the bladder be removed. Next week I am going to another urologist for yet another opinion. When the bladder is severely damaged this way, a bright red area also appears from this injury which burns just like the cuts. BEWARE

In 2011 my husband had a kidney stone and went to High Point Hospital. Dr. Mullins was the doctor on call. Next day during the surgery, Dr. Mullins cut a chunk out of his ureter tube. He had to be rushed to Baptist for 12 hour surgery to rebuild his ureter tube which was unsuccessful. Since Dr. Mullins surgery in 2011, my husband’s health took a downward spiral. I realize doctors make mistakes. This has had a negative affect on both of our lives.

I was very upset after seeing Dr Mullins. I had to have a surgical procedure done and he did not come in with me and my wife and explain the procedure to us before or after. In the office visit he acted like he could not wait to get out of the room and was just blatantly rude. When I needed a refill on my meds I called his office over and over leaving messages I was in really bad pain and when I did talk to someone I was just cut off. I had to go to another doctor to be taken care of properly. I would not recommend going to this doctor.

Dr. Mullins has treated me many times for kidney stones. Simply put, he is the best urologist in the area and maybe in the state of NC. I recently received an elevated PSA report from my family physician. I requested to see Dr. Mullins because he is someone that I trust completely.

A doctor I would highly recommend to others and if needed will see again.

Dr. Mullins has been my dad's urologist for over 22 years. He is the very best ever for my parents, and myself. He is one of the family as my dad, Richard, would say. My dad has had several complications with prostate cancer, which was 1st diagnosed by Dr. Mullins, 21 1/2 year ago. Awesome doctor!!! My parents include him as one of their children. My dad has had MANY doctors over the past 20+ years. In 1996, my parents celebrated their 50th weddng anniversary. Dr. Mullins was the only medical care provider that attended the event. Dr.Millins is a great doctor!!! My parents, and myself, think of him as a member of the family. And, if Dr. Mullins reads these posts, my parents adore you, and I am very greatful for what you continue to do to help my dad!
