Dr. Pater and his staff are very patient and answered all of my questions. I was nervous about having surgery because the only other surgery I had had (on a foot) was much harder and had a longer recovery than I was led to believe (different practice). Dr Pater answered all of my questions and did not rush me through my appointment. Scheduling surgery was easy. My pre-surgery nurse at the Longmont surgical center was extremely kind and made the experience less traumatic for me. And my surgery results on my first arm/wrist have been so smooth, I immediately scheduled surgery for my other arm/wrist. I highly recommend Dr Pater!

I was referred to Dr Pater for issues with my thumbs. I felt he gave me an honest assessment of the issue. The route I needed was surgery. Within 3 weeks surgery was performed with a plan that when feasible the other thumb would need surgery as well. I never feel rushed, or not listened to and that what I wanted/needed was definitely thought about in the plan. I was obviously nervous, he and his surgical staff fostered a comfortable environment for me. Almost 5 months later and I feel fantastic! In 2 weeks Dr Pater will be performing the same surgery on the other hand. I'm am not near as anxious as before as I feel I can put all of my trust in his decisions.

Expert, professional, friendly, fast and will not over treat or recommend surgery unless absolutely necessary. I wish every doctor was this good and such a pleasure.

Professional and very talented

Dr. Pater was amazing with our son this week when he was seen for two broken hands from a bike crash. We don't have insurance so the cost was a worry as well as the possibility of surgery. The accident happened on a Sunday and they got us right in on Monday. His confidence and experience were evident and he was quickly able to take care of our son right in the office. Our son is on his way to healing after the procedure and two casts. The billing was beyond reasonable compared to our other experiences and many other stories I've heard about other local facilities and children's hospitals. Hopefully we don't have to be seen for any other incidents after these follow-ups, but if we do, we will definitely be back to Dr. Pater.
