Dr. Timothy Joseph Pylko, MD

Horribly unethical doctor, charged a personal associate of mine under involuntary hold at an in network facility without his consent under the impression he was charging his insurance while incapacitated and made him liable and sent him to collections. Did not offer any real help only tried to upswell his services for his own clout. Do not trust, disgustingly unethical, fraudulent behavior found when looking further into this doctor. He will not help you only try to milk you for what he can get.

This doctor was the first doctor who realized that my previous diagnosis was wrong. I floundered more than 8 doctors and 7 medications before seeing him. (I was very depressed for 11 years before seeing him). I was under his care very briefly in 2000, before I had to go to the East coast for a year. He wrote a note to be given to the next doctor. Which was ignored by the next doctor. However, in 2001, I hit a doctor in the East coast who paid attention to what he has written, diagnosed me correctly, and the first medicine tried worked like a magic. By the end of one month, I could exercise every day, where as before that I was nearly bed ridden most of the day. I returned after a year much better to Dr. Pylko. I think I would never have recovered without Dr. Pylko's diagnosis. I was ill from 1989 to 2001. After I got physiologically well in 2001, I worked on the cause of my depression, and by 2004 I got it working more or less. By 2010, I have solved the psychological cause… for my depression with help of counselors and so on. Dr. Pylko says I am one of the cases which has turned out very well. My daughter is also under his care, and she is also doing so much better after 3 years of care by him. I definitely recommend him. I have been seeing him for more than 15 years now. I cannot get rid of the medicine, (1/4 dose of average US dosage) but I am as good as new.

Dr. Pylko has been extremely helpful. I have seen him once a month for less than a year, and he has helped me with correct diagnosis and medication. He is not a preferred provider on my insurance...no really good psychiatrist is...so I happily pay for expert help.

Dr. Pylko is one of the best psychiatrists I have had the pleasure of working with. He is very dedicated to his patients and family members when present. Dr. Pylko deserves four out of four stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Pylko for 20 years and could not imagine seeing anyone else, and I pay cash because he does not take my new insurance. I referred my best friend to him who also loves him!

I always feel that he is in drug companies' pocket. He tried hard to push me on some medication and I realized later that he is a paid speaker for that drug. I would not recommend.

I saw him a few times for medications. Every time he made me wait for over an hour. He was rude, uninterested in my problems and seemed like he wanted to get me out of the office so he could talk to the drug rep waiting in the hallway. He seems burnt out and tired. Definitely not recommended!

I would give him zero star if I could. Like the last review said, he was rude and had no bedside manner whatsoever. He does not accept my insurance and I had to pay big bucks to see him. What a waste of my time and money.

I saw him twice during this summer for some anxiety and work issues. He was awful. Very rude and condescending. He was very tangential and never answered any of my questions. I had a feeling that he loves to hear himself talking, in a weird professor kind of way. How is that he is a psychiatrist when he has no social skills what so ever.

I have been seeing Dr. Pylko for 17 years. He is caring, kind, a great listener and a fantastic diagnostician.He always returns my phone calls. I am a fully functioning woman because of him. I have sent many people over to see him and everyone has had a positive experience.
