Dr. Timothy Rider, MD

Our primary care doctor, Dr Bal is leaving the practice so we decided to see Dr Rider. My first appointment with him was a complete disaster. He was very arrogant and could care less about me needs. My wife and I have been with Abrazo for 20+ years and have had excellent service. We we’ll be looking for a new primary care provider.

Dr Rider has helped me with issues I have had happening. But after multiple visits over 3 years he seems to go back and forth from being overly concerned to nonchalant

Very professional and respectful.

Dr. Rider was encouraging, explained topics well. I am deaf with a cochlear implant which he remembered & worked to make sure I understood correctly.

Dr, Rider is very good caring also

Dr. Rider shows concern by asking and receiving questions to and from me.

After waiting a very long time, Rider flew threw the door, didn't introduce himself, and barely made eye contact as he asked what the issue was. He did not even look carefully at my issue to properly diagnose what it was. When he wanted to "take care of it" himself, I asked for a referral to a specialist. Specialist confirmed what I thought was wrong. Rider would have made it worse.

NOT the DR for me. Did not listen. Was not courteous when I called back. Staff also needed to be asked to contact Dr on my behalf. Asked for me to come back when I had just taken time off from work a few days before for the initial appointment. No other Dr on duty would handle issue without you coming BACK IN which means more $$$ for them and who cares about your inconvenience. ALL for something that could of been handled very easily by patient request to alleviate issue. NO PATIENT CONSIDERATION.

Listens and pays attention to your symptoms very helpfull.
