Dr. Timothy Scott Shepherd, MD

I've been here a few months and have received the best care in years. Dr. Shepherd himself is very thorough and caring towards his patients. The office is staff are helpful and professional.

This is my 3rd visit to the new offices in Flower mound for general sick visit...never less than 2 hours ! I seriously need to find a new PCP!!!

I am so thankful for Dr. Shepherd. For the last year I have seen 7 different Drs. I felt I was going to die,and finally a Dr. Agreed. Dr.Shepherd told me to get out of my apartment. Within one week we had moved. The culprit was mold. He said he would write any letters I needed,we were out of our lease in 15 minutes. Within three weeks I have had a miraculous turn around.He listened to me. Wow what a novelty,rather than arrogance,humility. Thankyou

Dr. Tim Sheperd is our family physician and has been for several years. He is very caring person and a great diagnostician. Dr.Sheperd and his staff are professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The office personnel as well as physician assistants have always been professional and respectful. I would highly recommend Dr.Tim Sheperd.

Over two years ago I was referred to Dr. Tim Shepard by a relative, after being injured in an automobile accident. Unfortunately, my physician (at the time) or anyone in his staff could not see me, they had too many patients with appointments and could not see me.They asked me to go to the emergency room of a hospital near me. I did go to the emergency room and the wait time was approximately 11 hours. A relative being a patient of Dr. Sheperd called Dr. Sheperd and asked him if he could see me. Dr. Sheperd was concerned about my well being and agreed for me to come to his office for an evaluation. I am so grateful to Dr. Tim Sheperd. He is the best family Dr. that have taken care of my health. Dr. Sheperd is a professional and kind physician; he is a great diagnostician that provides positive reinforcement. The staff at Dr. Shepard office is extremely helpful and professional. I am a senior that lives in Dallas, Texas choosing to be a patient of Dr. Sheperd . He is the best… health care provider that I have ever had. His practice is approximately an hour away from my home; I am thankful and grateful to be Dr. Sheperd’s patient. The reason to drive the distance is because I receive the best healthcare available; no reason for me to look any further.

His wife bosses around and yells at all of the staff and is extremely rude to the patients as well. I witnessed her telling a military man to leave bc he was there too long while waiting on paperwork and if he wanted more done he "could make an appointment and pay for it" she talks over the staff and does not listen to anything they say. She hinders them from getting actual work done and storms around the clinic like a psychopath. She opens exam room doors without knocking and says "I need you doctor" which gives patients no privacy. She makes the whole office a hostile environment.

This will be my last visit at this office. I made a appt for my daughter for hives. When we finally got called back after 45 mins, they said we're putting her in the back for mole removal. I'm was soooooo confused and my daughter was like I don't have moles. They had to change the information in the system. So now, it's been well over a hr and she has yet to see the doctor/NP. This is absolutely ridiculous, nobody have all day to sit in a doctor's office to be seen especially when you're not busy. They need a whole new staff because the level of customer service isn't there. At least have the decency to let a patient know how long they will have to wait. We've having been coming here for years and I've tried to stick it out by scheduling less visit because I know that they don't care about people or their time. PLEASE STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE A HOURS TO GIVE TO THIS OFFICE. MY DAUGHTER HAS YET TO BE SEEN, AS I'M WRITING THIS REVIEW. DON'T GET ME WRONG DR. TIM SHEPHERD IS A AMAZING DOC… BUT THE REST OF THE STAFF ISN'T.

Had 11:30 am appt. at 2:05 only bp taken. Started to leave. Woman said she would help. She worked computer for awhile then left. Half hou later different woman shows up. Got ear wax cleared and left at 3:00

I am surprised the medical board has not stepped in on all the wrong things he is doing. Patient care and confidentiality is not even a priority here. I could hear them discussing my care in front where waiting room and everything can hear. Then they billed me for having a mammogram, which they do not do at there office. Then the staff is disappearing. I think its time to quit practicing Dr Shepherd cause you don't know how to legally deal with patients and our care anymore. Its only money and billing wrong to try and get it.

Save yourself from a headache. The office is very unorganized, poor customer service, they don't call out prescriptions and they send you bills asking you to pay when I had already paid my portion and my insurance too, they don't have no record that they have been paid? unorganized again. Then I email them proof of my paid receipt (not once or twice but several times) and I don't get any reply acknowledging my email, I have called their office to make sure they received my proof of payment and they put me on hold for a long time, not they always say they will call me back. Another thing is that even though it was the same appointment each month for exactly the same thing (I went there for weight loss program and every month they would just weight myself, blood pressure and ask me a few questions about my diet) they would send my insurance company different amounts, they would just make up an amount and send it to my insurance company to see if they will pay it from $115 to $180, when a… regular appointment is $84 dollars. I know co-workers they went to Shepherd Healthcare too and they all had the same issues. I can't believe they still in business.
