Dr. Timothy Joseph Wierzbicki, MD

Called the office because I was running late. They said to come and they would take me. I got there 10 minutes late and they wouldn’t let me see the doctor!! They are really cruel people -

My husband saw Dr Wierzbicki over a year ago. My husband had signs of ALS. After some very thorough testing by Dr Wierzbicki it was discovered that my husband had severe compression on his spinal cord in his neck. We were referred to another excellent doctor (Dr Reddy) and my husband was scheduled for surgery. 2 titanium plates and 10 screws later my husband is doing as well as he can. We are very thankful for Dr. Waldbaum in Deland for first noticing a problem and referring us to Dr Wierzbicki and then for Dr Wierzbicki for referring us to the best surgeon ever. Thank you too to Dr Wierzbicki's staff who have always been extremely professional and kind to us!

This office will add to your issues with your health. Poorly ran by the doctor's wife. She does nothing in a timely manner and is extremely rude. Because I chose not to do chemo therapy for my MS the doctor discharged me. Thank God I was already to leave this office. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

Office is slow to respond

Had numerous tests performed ordered by the doctor a couple of weeks ago. Haven't heard any results. Called the office today and was told by the nurse all test results showed nothing and the doctor would go over the results at the follow up appointment which, incidentally is in August. This is unprofessional and unacceptable not to provide results of tests to a patient.

I went to see the dr. On 6 differnt occasions, my wait time was always over two hous. On my last time while waiting, I could hear his office staff being extremely rude to an older patient. The conversation went on for over 15 minutes of condescending behavior and as far as telling the patient she was lying, the conversation was so loud it was impossibe to block out, and very uncomfortable to witness, I am waiting in the room and this is at the opposite part of the office. When I did see the Dr he prescribed medication for my nerve pain. When I came home I researched the medication that had a direct interaction with another prescription. I called the office and talked to the nurse who was the same from the day before. I told her the problem and asked if I could speak to the Dr she said I would have to make another appointment which was two months ago. I had an appointment with my primary when I mentioned it to him he said it was good I had not taken it because it would have… becaused the interaction would have called seizures. I asked if this was the nurse that I heard over the phone the day before, she became very angry. Neadless to say they dropped me. I wonder if the Dr was even aware. Scary.

He's a very through doctor, who explains everything thoroughly. I will continge having him be my neurologist.

We can't actually comment on his level of care since we never actually got to see him. It is possible to schedule an appointment with him, but to actually see him you will have to wait an inordinate amount of time. Do not fall for their hollow promise of, "We will call you when the person before you goes in so you do not have to wait in the office, because he can run late." We first received a call stating he was running 1.5 hrs late. Shortly after we received a call to hurry up and get down there since someone had canceled. Upon arrival, his waiting room had people waiting ahead of us. We gave up at 4 PM after more than an hour of waiting when the person with a 1 PM appointment was finally called in, and we were looking at perhaps waiting another hour. His office assistant was extremely rude and condescending. She seems to feel these obscene wait times are a standard practice in health care offices. It is not and should never be acceptable.

After repeated attempts at securing an appointment and after meeting the doctor after he relocated to Port Orange I never saw him again even after he seemed very congenial and seemingly patient friendly. His staff ? in office were and are generally rude and have 'care-less' attitudes. As stated he appeared to be concerned with my health and current pressing problems and stated he wanted to see me ASAP upon his opening this 'new' office in Port Orange and placed my thoughts of finally locating a 'caring doctor' but those thoughts have since far diminished due to the above stated facts - but then like most professional positions I don't believe 'the boss' (in this case Dr.Wierzbicki) knows just what is transpiring in his office. Perhaps if one could get to speak with him personally whereby he knows what's up ones opinion could possibly return to a positive one.

This doctor did not read recorda I had given him prior to giving me an eeg which included strobe lights. He was not present since I had an appointment with him after the test. As a result, I asked his asst. not to use strobe lights whhich she continued thereby causing a seizure. They had him come in andd sent me home without notifying my husband who was waiting in the waiting room. After that I was ill for a week, called the Dr. for test results and to let him I was not well. Waited three weeks without a callback from anyone. I then went to his office and they were having a party while patients were waiting. He had still not read my records or results.They refused to give me my test results which I am entitled to. I amfrustrated with him and his staff for the negligence they provided, rather than treat me as a person. Please remind this dr. that he took an oath, I intend to follow up this matter with the AMA if I am not given my results in 3 days. He still has all my records.
