Dr. Atkinson, whose academic credentials are enviable, did a reverse shoulder replacement surgery which has left me pain free! His staff and physical therapists are courteous, respectful, and professional. Dr. Atkinson was recommended to me by a friend who had shoulder surgery by Dr. Atkinson and by my primary care physician whose spouse had shoulder surgery by Dr. Atkinson. I'm 9 months post-surgery and couldn't be happier! Dr. Todd Atkinson is tops!!!!!

Dr. Atkinson had done both of my shoulder replacements which couldn't have been any more ideal. So it goes without question to have Dr. Atkinson do my knee replacement . However this procedure was not exactly ideal, I was so spoiled with the short recovery of my shoulders I assumed the same for my knee, I was wrong! This anticipation is on me, Dr. Atkinson warned me that I could experience everything I had gone through. The replacement itself is perfect, full mobility and finally feels normal. It just takes time like he said. Dr. Atkinson is such a good surgeon, he is so patient with me when I have an appointment with him, never rushes and takes his time. One day I will need the other knee done and I am in no rush to do so, but when I do nobody but Dr. Atkinson is going to touch my knee

Dr Atkinson took his time with me discussing my shoulder issue and the total replacement surgery. I never felt rushed. He is kind and his office staff was very friendly and helpful. I am extremely satisfied with the results. I had minimal pain following surgery and physical therapy went well. I would highly recommend Dr Atkinson.

No pain after total shoulder replacement. Should have done this earlier. PT staff were great, as is the entire staff. Gaining strength is now at top priority.

I chose Dr Atkinson for my rotator cuff surgery based on reviews i read on-line. Boy were they accurate. His sincere approach to understand my issue, his explanation on what would be the fix, and his professionalism before and after the surgery leaves me completely satisfied that I made the best choice possible. Had a Reverse Shoulder Replacement done in November of 2025. Recovery has been smooth but also I had little to no pain. I am now done with the Physical Therapy, though needing to continue to exercise to build strength, but have been cleared to begin golfing or fishing again. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Atkinson and his staff. His follow up was nothing like I have seen before, he called me on a Sunday night, most doctors have their assistants call not him, he does it. If you are having to get joints fixed or replaced contact Dr. Atkinson.

I have had chronic knee pain for several months and after a dedicated search found Dr. Atkinson. After my initial consultation and diagnostic procedures, Dr. Atkinson informed me that my pain was due to a torn meniscus. I had no idea how this occurred to me, however after discussing my options, I elected to have an arthroscopic repair. Good decision. Dr. Atkinson has a SUPER office staff and rehab team in the Cape Coral location which helped me tremendously get back to normalcy. Many Thanks!
