I want to thank Dr. Todd Atkinson, for the excellent service and patient care that I received for the replacement of my right shoulder. His staff and nurses were so helpful and courteous during all my appointments and follow-ups. After surgery my family told me how impressed they were with Dr. Atkinson's knowledge and care for my health and well being. I recommend Dr. Atkinson for all your orthopedic needs. Dr. Atkinson has extensive training in shoulder repair. He performed my surgery 5 months ago and things couldn't have gone better! Thanks to his skill, the PT specialists I've seen, my dedication to PT and help from the man upstairs, I'm starting to get back to the active lifestyle I moved to Florida for. If shoulder surgery is in your future, you owe it to yourself to see Dr. Atkinson.

Long story short - I was experiencing knee pain and discomfort for about a year and decided to get a diagnosis from a local orthopedic doctor. I made an appointment, came in and had an x-ray. MRI was next to confirm a severe lack of cartilage, then consultations with Dr. Atkinson and one of the PAs on the team. They discussed all of my options with me, including non-surgical solutions, which I decided would be temporary. Opted for surgery. I had total confidence in Dr. Atkinson's competence and experience and he didn't let me down. Surgery went well. PT followed and now 3 months later I am doing great. I can't say enough about Dr. Atkinson and the entire staff in the office. They were all there for me from the beginning of the process and beyond, including follow up appointments. I highly recommend his office. I was treated with understanding and respect at all times by everyone there.

wow where to begin I was a little hesitant to make a appointment to get my left shoulder looked at which was bothering me for at least 20 years being a garbage man up in Connecticut my arms took a beating but the appointment was the best thing i ever did it has changed my life forever I'm just over 4 months removed from my surgery and i have no pain whatsoever with my shoulder the muscles and tendons are sore but that's what physical therapy is for. if this is what pain free means than I'll be doing my right shoulder soon. Dr. Atkinson and staff are awesome, they are there to help and they do. I'm 100% happy with my decision and choosing the right doctor to do the job.

I have only the highest regard for Doctor Atkinson. I think about the first time I met him and the time he took to explain what the problem was with my shoulder and to explain all the options and what he felt was the best way to proceed. He was patient with my wife and me and took the time to address all our concerns and answer all our questions. I heard some real horror stories about shoulder surgery but my surgery could not have gone any smoother. Immediately after the surgery, the pain was gone and I already had more mobility than before the surgery. Dr Atkinson has seen me three times after the surgery to make sure I was progressing. A real plus was the therapy I received from the therapists associated with his practice. I worked mainly with Dana. She was extremely knowledgeable, showed a real concern with my progress and if pt could be fun, I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. Finally one last comment about Dr Atkinson. You’ll never meet a finer person.
