Dr. Todd Brian Tescher, MD

worst doctor I have ever seen. very rude. acts like mechanics in body shop. does not want to listen patient at all. he should not be a doctor. and I don't understand after these much complain why the hospital keep him as their staff.

I found Dr. Tescher to be extremely professional, courteous, thorough, punctual and caring. He answered all of my questions. His office and desk show him to be a very organized person. I highly recommended him.

Called on weekend for after hour consulting and took him almost 5 hours to return the call. When he did return the call he wouldn't answer the questions we had and basically said wait till tomorrow or go to an urgent care center or emergency room. A quote from him, "I'm not going to play make a diagnosis over the phone game"

Superb clinician, skilled surgeon, great human being--Dr. Tescher is the whole package. When I was found, after years of difficulty urinating, to have a high PSA and needed a urologist, my PCP, a neighbor (an RN), and a golf buddy all gave me the same name: Dr. Todd Tescher. His impeccable reputation, both inside and outside the medical community, is well-deserved. Even if he is a Yankee.

Having been an allied healthcare professional for over forty years, I am quite critical of medical professionals and facilities. Dr. Todd Tescher is, without doubt, among the most knowledgeable, thorough and caring physicians available. Having personally been his patient, as well as having family members treated by him, I cannot recommend him highly enough. Personal follow-up has been outstanding. We have great confidence in him and his skills.

I am not sure if this person is a doctor at all! He does not remember the Hippocrates' commandment and doctor's oath... if he ever knew. Very sad that such "doctors" exist, and insurances pay for such appointments. I had not received any answers to my questions; his knowledge level is very low. I could find more information on the internet than during the appointment with him. He was not helpful at all. The most astonishing was his rude attitude. I came to him with UTI infection, and he had not sent my urine sample to a lab as he said he would! He does not have a nurse also... I guess that is why he does not have many patients. You won't have a problem to schedule an appointment with him :)

I was referred to Dr. Tescher by my primary care doctor for a fairly complex bladder issue--he called him "a doctor's doctor". I cannot say enough positive things about this physician. As suggested by his pedigree, he is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and professional. He is in solo practice, and the lack of a "factory mentality" in his office results in excellent communication and compassionate care. In a community of fine doctors, he is a stand-out.

I highly recommend staying away from Dr. Tescher. He is too arrogant to be practicing medicine on humans. He promised to call me on a Thursday with biopsy results. When I didnt get a call, I called his office at 4:00. The receptionist told me that he the results are in, but he didnt get a chance to call me before he went away on a long weekend. She would not give me the results and refused to send the results to the doctor that referred me. I had to wait until Monday to find out that I had cancer. When he came back he lied to me about not getting the results until after he left. I also requested that he use Fairfax lab because I have a close friend that is a doctor at Fairfax. He used a mail order lab so he could pocket the difference in charges. After this experience, I went to Johns Hopkins and got great treatment by people who actually care.

Worst receptionist I've ever dealt with.
