Dr. Todd William Ulmer, MD

Very pleased with my visit to see Dr. Ulmer. He is patient and kind, listens to you, and carefully discusses a treatment plan. A bit unusual in these days of rushed medical visits!

I saw Dr. Ulmer following an auto accident. He did not chart my notes correctly and this has caused me much time, expense and trouble. He reported I said I didn't want the surgery at all when in fact I said I couldn't have the surgery until after the new year due to no one being able to take my place at work. He simply noted I didn't want the surgery at all. My attorney met with him and he refused to change the notes. His attitude is pompous and know it all. If he can't cut on you he has no time for you and doesn't care. I was told by another doctor that he's a great surgeon but also known for having no personality or bedside manor. I wouldn't even have given one star if I would of had that option.

Highly skilled in surgery, Dr. Ulmer did a fabulous job of repairing my knee after a mountain biking accident.

Dr. Ulmer is beyond outstanding. I would recommend him to anyone needing a back specialist. He is one of the extremely rare providers who genuinely cares about his patients. I had become accustomed to the doctors who rushed me out the door as quickly as they could. The ones who just wanted to check me off their list. Dr. Todd Ulmer is one of a kind. He spends the time talking to you rather than making you feel rushed. He also makes time in his schedule for people who really need help. This is despite the fact that he is incredibly busy. He still makes time for people who are in need of care. When dealing with a severe injury, the last thing you need is a string of delays in getting the care you need. Dr. Ulmer understands that. Dr. Ulmer is the reason I have a diagnosis for my injury. He is the reason I am getting the care I need. Without him, I would be months behind in this recovery process. If only we had more doctors like Dr. Ulmer, we would have a healthcare system that… actually works well.

Well informed of all treatment options. Surgical procedure had excellent outcome. Very positive experience.
