Dr. Talishinskiy ("Dr. T") of Advanced Laparoscopic Associates recently performed a colon cancer operation on my Mother which involved removing a large section of her colon. Dr. T is beyond excellent. He was patient and caring throughout our experience, from our first meeting to the follow-up appointment. He carefully explained the surgery and patiently answered all our questions. His "bedside manner" and demeanor is confident, intelligent and extremely reassuring while being honest with the risks of the procedure. On the day of the surgery, in the pre-op room, Dr. T and his team was again just perfect, explaining everything and answering every question kindly and thoughtfully. Most important, the surgery went perfectly, "Plan A" as Dr. T told me afterwards in the family waiting area. Dr. T came out after the surgery and explained how it went calmly and confidently which was just the reassurance I needed. The staff at Advanced Laparoscopic is excellent. They took care… of all the details of the preparation and led us through the necessary pre-admissions testing and physician letters we would need. They are really on-top of things and operate as a well-oiled machine so to speak, which is very important when a patient is scared and new to the whole system. I highly recommend Dr. T and the staff at Advanced. He is an excellent surgeon and a thoughtful, caring physician.
