She is the best gyno I have ever had. She cares about you as a person, not just your reproductive health. She is kind, compassionate, patient and listens to you. She educates you in a "I want you to understand so you can make an informed decision" not a condescending "I know more than you" way. When I was in my early 30's I decided I wanted to have a hysterectomy because I didn't want to pass on genetic health problems that would cause a life of pain. As I was unmarried, and had never had children at my age this is not acceptable to a majority of physicians. It is extremely rare for a physician to listen to and understand a woman's decision to want this procedure done with those circumstances. Thanks to her compassion and understanding, I ended up getting my tubes removed instead of a hysterectomy, but that was because she cautioned complications due to my health issues. I am truly grateful to have her as my physician.
