If you want a Great Pain Management Doctor, this is him. He looks outside the box. I have this disease called Interstitial cystitis and he'd never treated anyone before me with this nightmare disease. He had me get this procedure done and I was scared. He kept on me months to have this procedure done and I finally had the procedure. I now feel the best I've felt since 2007. He's a great doctor and as long as your honest with him, you'll get 110% from him. No office is perfect, right? His problem is running on schedule but, even though he's running behind, he still gives you your appointed time.

First time I was in his office, we talked and he listened. Second time we were there, he talk. He had done his research on my wife’s medical condition and he was going to treat it. Now when we go, he talks then we talk. It’s alway an open dialect. 5 STARS

I have been a patient of Dr. Al-Amin since almost the opening of his practice in Maryland. I felt the need to write this after reading the less than flattering review I just read on this site. First of all if he was about money as his primary motivation for practicing here in Md. he would have folded up long ago. He is in pain management and that entails prescribing pain medication. His operation is not about handing out pills and collecting cash. he spends a pretty good amount of time with each patient and does his best to get to the bottom of their medical complaint. This does take time and yes you may wait a bit here and there but when you are with him you get your time too. To put it simply he is an extremely intelligent doctor who plays by the rules in a specialty field of medicine that has a great deal of patients playing all kinds of games trying to obtain narcotics. He wants to help you . If you have a legitimate problem and follow the rules he is the best Doc you will find. If… you want to play games go somewhere else.
