Dr. Tracey Lynne Shepherd, MD

It is my pleasure to be the first to write a review about Dr. Shepherd. She is very good at listening. She is black if that matters to someone. Abt 40 years old, very quiet. Every time I leave my visit she has given me a gold nugget to dwell on and really think about until the next appt. Easy to get appt. She is in an office with many other doctors. She came recommended to me by my psychiatrist. She is a real Christian not just using Christianity in counseling. So she can relate a problem or solution to the Bible. I love her ability to quickly understand the core of what the problem is when I'm trying to explain something. When she says the word/words, I say "That's it!" Then I have a label on it and know what to call it. I've been talking with her about 1 year with marital problems and family issues. I get excited about facing life again when I visit her. Someone I can talk to. Terrific listener. She has two small children so she can relate to parents.
