Dr. Tracy Louise Turner, MD

Bad bedside manner. I seriously felt like she did not want to be my OBGYN because I was not pregnant and over 40 years old. She performed a biopsy and had to use a paste to stop the bleeding. Something was wrong with the consistency of the paste. She said they nurse mixed it wrong. So why would you use it on your patient? It was very painful. She did not take my daughters severe menstrual cramping and bleeding seriously. My daughter refused to go to her again. I no longer am a patient.

Dr. Turner is amazing! I have been going to Dr. Turner for 8 years now. She delivered my daughter and my son and gave me the best experience. Between my kids I had an Ectopic pregnancy which I was not aware of because I was still breast feeding my daughter and also got my period on time. The minute I went to see Dr. Turner she knew exactly what’s happening and took me to surgery right the way. She saved my life! She is a kind doctor that takes time to provide helpful information. I like that she shows real concern for me and my health. I strongly recommend Dr. Turner.

Dr. Turner is amazing! She delivered my son and made my experience as a first time mom super easy. She cares about her patients and really knows her craft. Even during a scary deliver situation, Dr. Turner remained calm and handled things seamlessly. I strongly recommend Dr. Turner.

My appointment was for a working problem being my doctor with this practice was not available. I had an endometrial biopsy and she used no medication to deaden the area and needless to say she lifted me off of the table and just kept moving me farther down on the table. It was a miserable experience and then the result after the torture of poking and broding she didn't biospy enough tissue for an acurate diagnosis. It was a miserable experience and I felt she was not knowledgable enough to be caring for my problem. Left me in tears and very upset. I saw my doctor in the hall of the office and she explained in detail what to expect and made sure I was ok before leaving the office. It was a horrible experience and one not easily forgotten. I would not recommend her to anyone. Needs more experience and use meds to make sure patients are not put through all that pain. Other doctors I saw after that with the same procedure i never knew when the biopsy was done. This was prove of my… explanation above.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Turner to address my gyn health. She is a kind doctor that takes time to provide helpful information. I like that she shows genuine concern for me and my health. For the first time since starting this journey to better health in 2009, I feel as though my problems will finally reach a resolution that I can live with. I'm grateful to Dr. Turner and her staff for helping me.

I did not like my appt. with Dr Turner but since it took so long to get it I will stick with her. I wasn't able to get an appt. till I was 11 weeks along. Her front office person was nice enough. But the girl that took me back was not. She was rude. After taking my weight and blood pressure, she said leave a urine sample and go to room 6 with bottoms off for your ultrasound. And I was like is that it, and she said you will also see the Dr. I was confused because before when I went to a Dr. in Houston for 2 pregnancies that I lost she did a full exam plus ultrasound on the first visit. I set in the room with my legs covered and actually cried. Here I am hoping for a baby after 2 miscarriages and I'm crying in the exam room. When the Dr. came in she didn't seem interested in getting to know me. She did the ultrasound, and I was pregnant (happy moment), went over my vitamins and told me what not to eat. Another thing that caught my attention was that there was no condom on the ultrasound… stick like at the other Dr.'s office. I left with a bag of information and had to get my blood pressure redone. I thought the price was high for just an ultrasound. Hopefully on the next visit my chart would have been reviewed more closely since it will be month since my first visit. I will be 16 weeks before I get my pap test or bloodwork done. Like I said I would have expected it on the first visit so the Dr. would know if I was healthy or not.

If you are a younger woman, under 35 and no chronic health problems, then Dr. Turner is perfect for you. But if you are over 35 and have diabetes, hypothyroidism or another chronic problem, she can't help you very much. She does not know much about these problems. These health issues are critically linked with a woman's health and fertility.Her staff I have found to be a bit rude. They havn't been very helpful with prescrition insurance and refused to write a 90 day rx like I needed so my insurance would pick it up.I wish I could say better things but this office has made me seek another doctor.

I highly recommend 1st Choice, Dr Turner is very down to earth and a true "people person". Not to mention very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and concerns as a new mom.
