Dr. Trent Alan Mascola, DO

He seemed down to earth guy straight forward. He asked if I had anything of concern we might have missed multiple times to be save.

Have been going to Dr. Mascola for the past four years as my primary physician and have had nothing but positive experiences, polite treatment and immediate attention to my needs.

Dr. Mascola is honest, direct, and has nothing but the best interests of his patients in mind. I highly recommend him!

Had a relatively quick appointment for a troubling symptom. Dr. Mascola listened to my symptoms, asked questions, did the stethoscope thing. My blood pressure was measured by the nurse-assistant at the outset. The Doc referred me to a specialist which seemed reasonable since there were no current symptoms and no immediate indication of a problem.

Dr Mascola always seems to listen to all you have to say about your health and family health conditions. He never rushes you through an examination. Always goes over current meds and prescriptions to be sure your chart is up to date. Puts his patients at ease.

Dr Mascola is a great man. My whole family goes to him and we are so happy we found him. He is very informative and always available to answer any questions. Great bedside manner!

Dr. Mascola Is a very pleasant Man and does not rush a patient. He ends each Session by asking the patient if there are any further questions. He is a thorough doctor.I recommend him.

If you are elderly or have any risky medical conditions let this be a warning to you to not use this Dr. He reported my "perfectly competent Dad" as "incompetant driver" to DMV and then DMV stripped him of his drivers lic. My Dad is athletic, golfed an 89 yesterday, is completely healthy and mentally there, yet Dr Mascola told the DMV he was uncapable of driving. I find this terrible to make this judgement when he has never driven nor been with my Dad in any situation other then Dr visits. I am strongly against his judgement.

Went to Dr. Mascola 9 months ago about shoulder pain. He spent more time sitting at the exam table typing on his computer than checking my shoulder. Sent for X-rays and then sent email stating nothing torn. In the meantime, nothing for the pain either. Then went for my physical which was a joke as more time behind the computer and only listened to my heart. but, told him of a pain in my hip. He said to give it time and he would order an x-ray if it still hurt. The pain got severe so went to another Doctor at an Urgent Care. I told him the symptoms and he examined my hip and told me exactly what was wrong. Prescribed some medication and was feeling great in less than 2 weeks. Why didn't Doctor Mascola take the time to figure that out when I was there? Because he is more interested in typing history than dealing with the present. I cancelled my two remaining appoints and done with him and Gulf Coast Medical.

Waited 45 minutes in lobby before I asked about delay regarding my appointment was about. I was told my appointment was another 45 minutes from now. My question is why couldn't they tell me when I checked in my appointment wasn't for another hour and half! Change to my appointment and wasn't called! Very unprofessional, looking for a new primary even though the doctor is good but this is not the first time this has happened
