I went to Dr. Murray with a relative for a consult for a possible knee replacement. My family member had several risk factors for surgery which he appropriately addressed; however, he made it very clear that he did not want to work with her. He offered a service from the Cleveland Clinic that she would not qualify for due to her age and told her about "bad knee replacements" and how she would beg for her painful knees back. I can't speak for his surgical skills--he may be brilliant but his bedside manner and empathy are sorely lacking.

I Recently had total knee replacment by Dr.Murray, I could tell after my first office visit with him he did not care for me too much. at my post surgery visit he did not even come into the room to see how i was doing, he had his associate come in. I knew he was not busy because I heared them conversing out in the hallway. Thanks Doc..

Very personable. Does not have a big head like most doctors do. If you have a question he will do a great job to sit down and talk it over with you. Highly recommend him for all surgeries that are covered under his department.
