Dr. Troy Daniel Gust, MD

Dr. Gust was very thorough in explaining the results of my MRI. I felt like he listened to me and answered all my questions. He was compassionate and honest.

Dr. Gust is compassionate, thorough, and truly listens. He noticed right away that I wasn’t feeling well, showed genuine concern, and took time to explain my MRI in detail. He even had his assistant double-check his findings for accuracy. I trust him completely to find the root of my pain and help me heal. His bedside manner is exceptional! He makes me feel heard, comfortable, and cared for.

Dr. Gust did my back surgery and it was a success. No more pain down the leg and back. He is very personable and makes you feel you can trust him which you can. Highly recommend him to anyone.

Very knowledgeable and honest with me when I met him for the first consultation. He was very reassuring as to the treatment /surgical procedures to relieve my back/Leg pain. Explained the proposed surgery and how long the recovery should be. He truly cares for his patients!

My follow-up from steroid injection went well, especially him knowing that it did not help!! He reassured me that a second injection would not do any good and we would have to probably address my C-spine stenosis with a surgery once we are done addressing my “drop foot” with lower back surgery which will be done here on Tuesday!! He did let me know that this surgery would be a 50/50 chance of fixing the drop foot so here’s hoping and praying but I have confidence in Dr Gust that he can get the job done!!

Iwas very nervous about my condition Dr Gust explained everything very well and was very honest about outcome which I appreciated. Both my husband and I felt more relaxed about and very confident with treatment

I appreciated the level of detail that he and the PA went into to explain what was going on with my neck and what my care plan should be going forward. He also noted other potential proactive approaches that would be beneficial so I don't have future pain. Very professional and I would highly suggest him to new patients. It was reassuring to know that all the doctors work well together to give me the best possible care. I'm very happy driving 4.5 hours to get such amazing care.

I highly recommend Dr. Gust. He removed a very large brain tumor (meningioma) from my husband. His bed side manor is amazing, he explained everything in a way we understood before and after surgery. He was never in a rush to leave and always answered all questions asked. He also has two amazing PA's that also have great bed side manors. This was a very complex surgery and he did an amazing job.

Accurate and precise diagnosis, very matter of fact. Gave clear and easy to understand post op direction. Dr. Gust himself does not spend much time with patient. I think I met him for 5 to 10 minutes. Never saw again until morning of surgery and then day after surgery. Has 2 amazing PA's that have great follow up and are happy to answer and explain any questions that I had.
