Dr. Trudy Breznik Goldman

Dr. Goldman is a no nonsense doctor and tough as nails when it comes to insisting her patients get the care they need and quickly. My son had a health issue when he was a baby and her office called another specialist's office to get an appointment. When her staff said they set one for over a month away and the specialist's office insisted that was the best they could do, she'd hear none of it. She got on the phone and we had an appointment the very next day. When my daughter came along we were able to switch her over to Dr. Goldman just prior to her 2 month check up. Dr. Goldman noticed there was something wrong with her eyes and had us at the hospital immediately. She ordered test after test and was calling me at 5 in the morning from her cell phone letting me know what test results we had gotten back and what was next on the list. She was tireless and was in constant contact with me letting me know exactly what was going on. I'll forever be grateful to her. My daughter was… diagnosed with Bilateral Optic Nerve Hypoplasia just prior to her 3rd month of life. It is a rare condition that most people/doctors haven't heard of and it isn't common for children to be diagnosed with it so early. In spite of moving to another city I have kept her as my children's doctor and would rather drive for 45 mins to get to her office from my home with another 45 minute ride back home then put my children's health in anyone else's hands. I have that much trust in her.
