Dr. Tung Henry Tang, DO

Extremely unprofessional staff. Not even paper pushers: two weeks after requesting an urgent authorization for vital referrals, they have not submitted the request for authorizations. This guy's staff alone should warrant a complaint to the medical board. Insurance runs out in December so, all that effort to get help? Moot.

The only reason that I give this place a 1 star is because of the office staff and the PA. The staff was nothing but rude when I asked a question about my prescription. The PA told me to go to either pay for the medicine or find another office. Never explained to me why a certain document got denied by insurance rather talked down to me as if i was dumb. I am a nurse, staff did not know this, but this is not how people should be treated. Dr Tang was very quick with his visits but was very quick to give me an injection. Dr Tang was a good doctor but watch out for the staff.

Don't go here, the staff is rude and Dr. Tang doesn't care. I had to make an appointment to talk to Dr. Tang because he would not return my calls. He told me frankly, that he was so busy with other things, and that his staff runs the office for him. Betty and Mimi are the worst!!!

Excellent, very caring physician

Dr. Tang and his staff was accommodating and very friendly to me and my dad. We were welcomed and taken care of within minutes of walking in the door. Dr. Tang was very kind and appeared genuinely caring. I have heard that Dr. Tang went through cancer treatments. I can't imagine anyone else understanding what my dad and my family is going through during this time except for someone who has gone through the pain of a disease also. My dad and I left Dr. Tang's office knowing that we were well cared for and that we are truly in good hands. We have lots of hope.

I was seeing another neurologist in the area for over a year but I couldn't connect with him. My family doctor sent me to see Dr. Tang and I'm so happy I did. He is so personable, kind and knowledgeable. He took time to see me and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Tang to those that need a neurologist. Oh, and his staff is really nice and professional also.

THIS DOCTOR WAS VERY ARROGANT AND IF YOU QUESTIONED ANYTHING, HE WOULD TELL ME TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER ELSEWHERE. AFTER THE 3RD TIME, I DID. IN 19 YEARS OF TAKING MY DOCTORS , I HAVE NEVER SENT A DOCTOR SUCH A SCATHING LETTER. HERE IS A MOTHER VERY CONCERNED WITH A CHILD HAVING UNCONTROLLED SEIZURES AND HE WAS VERY UNCARING AND UNKIND. FINALLY I RELIEVED HIM OF ANY FURTHER SERVICES TO MY DAUGHTER IN THIS LETTER. STAY AWAY FROM HIM, WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND AGGREVATION.

He did not spend any time to listen to my symptoms and told me everything was in my head and not physical. Did not answer any of my questions. He rushed me out the door. I sent an official complaint. I am seeing another neurologist now, and much happier.

I waited 40min in the waiting room to see this doctor and he only spent 10min with me. I do not know why previous review says he spends lots of time with patient. He spent 10min and he did nothing. nothing. I do not recommend this doctor.
