I wish I could give Dr. KAKARLA a 10! He has been my doctor for nearly 10 years. He is great at what he does, and he really listens. He goes out of his way to help with medical issues. He's friendly, upbeat and a real pro.

Dr. Kakarla did a lumbar fusion on me and I couldn’t be happier. I think he is a great doctor. He also helped my daughter with a very complex surgery that was life changing for her.

I was left with left arm partial paralysis and a lot of neuropathy after my cervical spine fusion. My arm may improve but the neuropathy is with me for the rest of my life. I am now clinically depressed after surgery by Dr. Kakarla.

This man put my wife in a wheelchair for three years. After her surgery, it was as if she had a stroke. when asking why she can't walk anymore he dismissed me with "she should be able to" in a very clear to, me to not bother him with questions. She lost her memory and could not form new memories for nearly a year and lost 90% of mobility and control on her left side. When i asked him about that he visibly and verbally was angry that i questioned him. My wife had to go back two times, a screw broke the first time and the second time was the two screws he put in to replace the first both came to lose. it was the third surgery that he did it the correct way with properly prepping the bone and that had us prescribed a BONE healing machine to help the fusion. Four years before my wife could function at a 50 % level with her left side and still had days where she can barely walk. Would never suggest anyone let this man touch your loved ones. Nearly destroyed our lives

Can't rave enough about his expertise. He did my daughters spine spine surgery and I felt at ease. That she was in good hands.

When no Drs in my home state of Ohio took me serious and gave very bad, harmful advice to me, Dr Kakarla did the opposite and has completely changed my life...he's giving me my life back and doesn't even realize just how much he's done for me...I know this is his job and it's what he does, but for me, my misery was my life and my reality. Dr Kakarla has me on my way to going back to work and feeling so much better...I'd give him and his staff and all the nurses at St Joseph's Hospital the overall best in medical care in the world if I could...and I promise I don't hand those out lightly these days in any medical field, but they are all much deserving of it!!

Kakarla is a great doc who explains things in a manner that I can understand. We have a great relationship as he jokes around and ensures that I am calm.

Dr Kakarla is incredibly clinical, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and understand, and willing to take the personal time needed to make you feel at ease and answer all your questions. Dr Kakarla will not conduct surgery unless absolutely necessary and he will engage in less obtrusive medical strategies prior to suggesting surgery. He is quite simply amazing and talented!

Dr Kakarla is very knowledgeable about the spine. I feel that I am in great hands. He recommends things for me to do & not to do. His office staff is very friendly.
