Dr. Ukpong Ette Nwankwo, MD

Dr Nwankwo has an extensive knowledge in her specialty within medicine. She has become my Family Doctor for almost 10 years. The medical staff who attends their office demonstrate a lot of empathy and courtesy with their patients. I am very grateful for her professional services.

She is very patient with clients with IDD and provides great customer service. She definitely catered to our client who had autism and several others.

Very friendly doctor who takes time to get to know her patients

I have been a patient of Dr. Nwankwo's for over 7 years and haven't a negative thing to say of her--She's absolutely wonderful; a lovely person and exemplary physician. She's doled out treatment and advice that is in equal measures kind and caring (the same could be said of most, if not all of her nurses.) Should one be fortunate enough to be seen by her personally, they would leave both happy and hale--if not on a path to that end. However, her fellows in the office--NPs and MDs--leave quite a bit to be desired. Dr. Tsibu in particular is atrocious. Though undoubtedly an intelligent man and capable physician, his manner is brusque and far from personable; visitations are brisk and after leaving the office I feel in turn irritated and berated. The office staff is marginally better than it was a year ago, though still a far cry from the old guard. I adore my PCP, but find the other physicians unequivocally repellant; I will be seeking another medical office to suit my needs.

My daughter and I have been going to Internal Medicine Assoicates for 12 years and they have exceeded my needs! Easy to get appointments, and never waited long to be seen. Dr. Nwankwo has an excellent bedside manner and truly cares for her patients. The staff is very professional and they prompt with any follow on needs. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Use to be good but is terrible now

If you are able to actually see Dr. Nwankwo, you will be so happy with what a truly kind and caring, not to mention very smart; physician she truly is. I have seen her for years. However, in the past 6 months to a year, her new NP is the polar opposite of Dr. Nwankwo, which surprised me because all the NPs she has had in the past were pretty much really great. The front office staff (signs you in/co-pay/etc) for the most part have also been really poor in comparison to people she has had in the past. The only one I can say anything nice about up there is Jennifer (been there a while); she is very helpful and friendly. Even when you make appt specifically with MD, you may still end up with NP (with MD not even in the office). Unfortunate, because again Dr. Nwankwo is probably the best doctor I had ever seen. I do miss her kindness and expertise, but have since switched doctors.
