Dr. Umesh Madhav Mhatre, MD

Dr. Mhatre is truly one of my favorite people. Having MS and very extreme depression, his well rounded medical background and education changed my life. I had been treated by neurologists and primary care Physicians for depression for years, but it wasn't until being treated by Dr. Mahtre that the depression was treated properly. I couldn't be happier with the care that I have received from him and his staff.

Prescribed pills in my mothers name to give to me as a child. Didn’t speak to me. Told her to give them to me. Totally unethical.

Terrible staff. Terrible service. Terrible concern for patient care. Is absolutely true doctor spends three to five minutes with patient, writes prescription (which is one part of treatment needed for stability and improvement) and sends you out the door. No concern for patient care after that. Sue Singleton is the most inconsiderate, rude, insensitive, unkind, mean and immoral person I have met. She should not be working in a mental health care office, or any customer service position for that matter. She is a deceitful liar and does not seek to help patients she knows has mental health issues when she could. She tries to demean those she could help and use her position of paltry office manager's paperwork and lip service power to limit access to assistance she could easily provide, or at least speak kindly and earnestly of to patients, clients, people in need of assistance. She has no right to deny me my rights as a patient to the care I deserve. This office should be… investigated for violations against patients rights and I will make it my mission to ensure this happens. I will be seeking alternate care as soon as possible.

Dr. Mhatre is a very nice doctor who actually sits and listens. I was kind of embarrassed to tell him about a sexual side effect that a medicine was causing, but I got up the courage to tell him and he told me that he was really glad I told him because he said he needed to know about all side effects that were cause for concern. He switched to a med that he has seen didn't have those sexual side effects. It was just nice to have a dr actually listen to me and feel that my concern was very important to him. I love Dr. Mhatre.

This is the most uncaring "psychiatrist: i have ever been too. He does not even want to hear your personal problems, which brought you to him in the first place. If you are bipolar or rmanic -depressive, yes he can help. Anything else go some where else.

This doctor does not discuss any emotional issues. He is very medication oriented. I wish he would listen a little more.

Doctor ask you questions for three minutes, walks away to see other patients comes back to you and said you are done. I still dont understand how can a Doctor know anything about you and how do you feel in three minutes...It is imposible. Did not like at all...

He is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever had the pleasure to go to. His office staff are all very personable. The whole overall experience was one of the best ones I have ever had with a Doctor or his staff. Thank you for your wonderful care.
