Dr. Ursula Star Whiteside, PhD

- Dr. Ursula Whiteside did not show up for my first scheduled appointment, and I waited, waited, and waited until I had a breakdown of crying and intense anxiety because of past abandonment issues, present severe suicidal ideation, social anxiety, and self-critical thoughts. - Dr. Whiteside threatened to end our client-therapist relationship if I chose to be in a PHP or inpatient at Fairfax even though I thought that more intensive treatment was needed. When I was in the lobby of Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital in Kirkland, Dr. Whiteside demanded that I recant what I said to the admissions evaluator. Dr. Whiteside's intervention caused a massive amount of stress, guilt, and shame. - After I stated that I no longer wanted to work with Dr. Whiteside, then she would call me before a scheduled session that I was not planning on attending. She would tell me that she is still waiting for me if I change my mind. Sometimes she would call me after the empty session to say the same thing as… her phone calls before. I felt very much pressured to not leave her. But I am glad that I did leave.
