Dr. Valerie Gail Anderson Grant, MD

First of all when you Google Dr. Valerie Grant, San Pedro, the only direct information that is shown is the address, hours, directions and phone number for the Gardena Office. It is an impossibility to get info for San Pedro as it is a mess tied to a Medical clinic. As a new patient I missed my appointment so I tried calling to reschedule. The office personnel is extremely incompetent. They do not answer the phone. You do hear them pick up the phone and hang it up so it goes into a recording and speaking to a live person is non existent. In researching Dr. Valerie Grant's bio she takes every known Insurance plan therefore I concur she is too busy for new patients and/or is already set with current patients and as a result does not have need or the time for new patients. I am flabbergasted with this mistreatment as it has been 2 days now that I cannot reach them and I will be leaving this office and moving on to a doctor who puts patients first. Stay away from contact here especially if… you have high blood pressure it does not help trying to reach this office you will literally feel your heart racing and that is not good.

Dr. Grant listens and is in no rush to get through your appointment. I'm a Medi-Cal patient, but she never once made me feel like as such. She's more attentive and detailed than a lot of Doctors I've seen when I had Kaiser or Blue Shield. Being a Dr. is certainly her calling (unlike many unfortunately who do it for the money or slack bc you're on Med-Cal) and her demeanor and respect for her patient shows it. I incredibly secure and feel safe in her care. Thank you so very much Dr. Valerie Grant. You're truly a blessing to all of your patients especially in this day in age where truly caring for others is becoming more and more rare each day that goes by. Go see Dr. Grant she truly cares.

She is an amazing doctor, really cares about her patients....ALL OF THEM. I came into the ER and she was very thorough with all of my symptoms, listened to everything I had to say and instead of pushing me out the door immediatly. She took her time with me and I appreciate that. Thank you so much Valerie!
